Me and my friends went and got an oat matcha latte, vanilla sweet cream cold brew with whole milk, and a hot oat latte with honey. All are pricy, a bit more than normal coffee prices but not excessively so it’d still be worth it if the drinks were good.
The $9 matcha was incredibly watery and didn’t taste much like matcha, mostly just watery oat milk. The cold brew was also very watery and generally not good; not bitter though, just watery. The oat latte with honey syrup did not taste like honey at all and was also not great. I’ve gotten their speciality ginger latte a couple times before and consistently been disappointed but I didn’t know if that’s just me not having the right taste for their particular ginger creation. They don’t have caramel syrup which is why I tried the honey this time, but it didn’t taste like anything other than diluting the weak coffee.
The atmosphere inside is fine, quiet without music, I’ve done work there before but it’s pretty cramped so it’s definitely not in my top 5 choices for getting work done. Outside there’s picnic tables with sun shades, so that seating isn’t bad if weather permits.
Overall the drink quality and atmosphere are not worth the cost. I’ve gone there multiple times when Trumpet & Drum down the block is too busy, but after this last experience I think we’ll go out of our way to go to a different coffee shop in those situations...

Read moreI visited this coffee shop for the first time and want to provide transparent feedback. The food, specifically, the breakfast burrito was filled with large cut, under cooked potatoes pieces. It was jarring to bite into tough potatoes and greenish scrambled eggs. Additionally, the staff did not seem interested in me entering the shop and were dressed surprisingly casual for a place with so many good reviews. I hope that the consistency of the burritos improves and that the staff received more training, I did not order coffee due to the quality of the service but with all honesty I stand by that decision now having...
