I've been many times and had varying experiences. Most workers are unfriendly. Pastries are mediocre but the warm food is pretty good. The nola iced coffee is good but way better with vanilla (which they upcharge for). Iced teas are good as well. My main complaint is the hostility towards people looking to do work there. They have a big space but their basket presentation of food doesn't indicate the vibe of a sit down restaurant, much more like a coffee shop with light food (which is what it is) yet they have blocked every outlet available. Why take up space in the neighborhood and not have charging spots open for people who are working there? It's not like they constantly need that much seating available (again, not a restaurant).I wouldn't go just to grab a coffee since they are so expensive and since they're not friendly to workers I...

The location is very nice, and well stocked on merchandise and product. When we ordered the girl did not know what was meant when we asked for an extra shot of espresso in our drinks - and charged for the shots without adding them to the drinks (I suspect she thought we meant pumps of mocha syrup as the drinks tasted like chocolate milk rather than the slightly bitter taste I expect). While we waited for our order the music set to play in the main area was strange and out of place for a coffee shop. When our order was handed to us one of the drinks had a huge chunk of clumped ice sticking out the top causing a spill, for which there were no napkins to help clean with. The French Truck location at 1200 Magazine is 200% better - I passionately love French Truck, just was heavily disappointed with this...

Read plenty of great reviews about the style and atmosphere of this place; little details on the actual coffee. Asked what region their drip blends were and response was “I don’t even know”.

Still, went with the “medium” blend which tasted decent. Flavor was a bit chocolatey and somewhat bland. Hard to identify any specifics of the blend due to a general lack of robustness. Not a bad cup of coffee but not memorable either.

Experience: Not a coffee expert but with a bit more experience than your average coffee customer, wouldn’t recommend this place for the drip (reviewers seem to adore the more complex beverages however). Though, if you’re just looking for a relaxing unassuming place to study or work, I would give this place 5 stars strictly for its lovely outdoor area, comfy seating, and...

Great place to get some work done BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HAVING THEM GRIND BAGS OF BEANS FOR YOU. THEY SEEM TO either not know how to do an espresso grind or they HAVE NOT CHANGED OUT THE BURRS OF THEIR GRINDER IN DECADES. Got a bag of beans and asked for espresso grind and when I got home it was definitely far from espresso grind (pictured). I went back and begged them to regrind it but it just clogged up their machine unfortunately and still wasn't fine enough to use in an espresso machine. I definitely recommend the Warehouse District location over this location; they get espresso grind correct! This location might need to switch out the burrs or I don't know. Super disappointed. But the muffin and drip coffee and vibes (headbopping 90s music) were great!

The decorum was nice & clean. The coffee was okay well. I got the a large iced Oji coffee ($5.35), which is similar to a cold brew. Honestly nothing too special, but decent. The only thing I didn't like was the service. The young lady who got my order looked like she didn't even wanna be there. She didn't even say hello, which isn't that hard. I get that it's early in the morning, but at least try to be a little nice. If it wasn't for that, the rating would've been higher. Overall, the ambiance is pretty chill and coffee was decent, but service is the only downside.
