Best burgers in New Orleans. All are fresh and cooked to order which is a rare feat. The fried mushrooms and artichokes are simply incredible, but all the sides are super yummy--the grilled asparagus is a favorite. Surprisingly, the grilled chicken sandwich is perhaps one of the better ones around--large and moist. For a great nautical/beach drink, try the massive (or smaller) "Life Jacket" (on the rocks is best), and it comes with a huge cup with the crest and logo of the restaurant on it!

My only gripe is that the stamped concrete floors could use a coverup. Luxury vinyl light-colored wood-like flooring would make the restaurant more comfortable and nudge it to be that little bit nicer, which would go a long way. Not to mention the less dense flooring would be easier on the staff's feet and knees!

A refresh & update was recently done that was much needed, but the iron gray paint choice is a little unfortunate--light color makes spaces feel clean and open, so an off-white, cream, or straight-up white would brighten it up and make the space bigger and feel cleaner. Just make sure you use high gloss for easy cleanability.

But at the end of the day, the burger, which is the heart of the house, is top-notch and what you should be there for.

Last but not least, the restaurant always has great staff who are friendly and do...

Had some of the worst service I have ever experienced in my life yesterday. Over 15 years in the service industry, never have I seen someone act so rude. 2pm on a Sunday afternoon, our server got snippy when we only ordered water, walked away mid sentence when we were trying to tell her we didn't really want any appetizers (we came for burgers and fries). When we ordered our meal, she literally snatched the menus from both our hands. When she delivered the food she set down the plates and walked away...didn't ask us if we needed anything, nothing. My burger was perfect, girlfrien's was overcooked and dry-but server never bothered to see if we liked. When I asked for the check and to-go boxes, she sent the hostess w/ them (while she stood idly by the bar-it was clear that by then she knew we were upset and wanted nothing to do w us). I am 41 years old, and I have never stiffed anyone no matter how poor the service because I know how it can be. Until Sunday, this woman got ZERO tip, and had I thought it would have done any good I would have demanded to see a manager. But there are too many wonderful restaurants in the city to waste any more time on this place. It's a shame because I do like their food, but the server ruined it for them. Good luck staying in business with people like that serving...

This was my first and last time here. Food wasn’t good. I question if the catfish is actual catfish and not a cheaper substitute cause the taste and texture were not on par. Mac n cheese was chalky and bland. The jambalaya was inedible and had a burnt taste. The prices on the menu for sides do not coincide with what we were charged. Baked beans advertised for $1 actually cost $5. Mac n cheese on the menu was $2.50 I think and ended up being $6. Then when we asked we were given an “explanation” and by then we were just over the whole experience. It seems like a place that’s clinging to life by bad management and poor business practices. They charge you gratuity for like 5 different reasons and it’s plastered all over the restaurant. The drink prices are insane and they don’t taste good. They’re punishing the customers with bad overpriced food instead of fixing the real issues with the business cause yall are serving horrible food, charging too much, and misleading customers into paying more than they have to. On top of a cash/credit fee that you potentially look over on a receipt too. There’s so many signs yall are in trouble financially but aren’t willing to do what’s right to fix it and save this place. Has potential but prob won’t be open for much longer if they keep...

The food was positively outstanding, however, the service was awful. We received our salad after our entree, and our appetizer came without plates. The server did eventually give us plates for it, though, kind of as an afterthought. Not once did she offer to refill our drinks, and only once did she check on us to see how things were. Her attitude was definitely off, and she handed stuff to me, or put them on the table opposite where we were seated, and slid them towards us. We asked for more napkins and she gave us exactly two - one more paper napkin each. If the food hadn't been spectacular, I would have left, but it was so well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. I don't know if I want to return. I definitely do for the food, but I don't want to be treated like a bother. The server definitely needs a lot more training.

We just finished the most amazing dinner at Lakeview Harbor. From the moment we walked in and were seated by the friendly host Lynn until we left the experience was amazing. Our waitress Christine suggest for me to try the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap (I had the fried chicken) it was amazing. When the wrap came I had to take a picture because it look fantastic. As soon as I took a bite I knew I chose the right menu item. Christine told me the cook that made the wrap was Brennan so I can make sure to order it again. He did a fantastic job. The price of the wrap with the baked potato (which was also delicious) was very reasonable. We will definitely be back and y’all should give the wrap a try.
