LUNCH Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in New Orleans

While the food looked amazing, I can’t say much because I canceled my order after witnessing the most disgusting exchange between a boss and a co-worker.

I went to lunch to order a sandwich, and shortly after, I witnessed the boss yelling at a sweet woman.

Apparently, there was an issue with an order of bread. The woman may have been at fault, but instead of handling it professionally, the boss cursed her out.

Several of us stood in shock and disbelief as this unfolded… and it turned out the woman was the owner’s mother.

Never in a million years would I treat my mother like that. From what I could tell, this kind woman was simply trying to keep her son’s dream alive by...

I've tried 2 of their sandwiches multiple times in the last couple months: the Portofino and the Capri (served hot or cold. You can't go wrong either way). Always excellent! Super tasty and filling (especially the full-size versions and make sure to get them sliced in half for easier handling/eating). Fresh, healthy ingredients. Delicious, homemade bread. Without a doubt, the best sandwiches I've had in my life. I look forward many more future...

I almost never write reviews but had to give a shout out to the folks at Lunch. It was our one break over the weekend from move in activities and just an awesome awesome awesome chicken parm.....despite it being 95 degrees out. Such a friendly and nice crew too that is clearly proud of their work. Everyting is handmade so takes a few to get your order...but really, well worth it. Will stop by every time we...
