I ride by this McDonalds location daily, but only stop in once or twice a week for the following reasons...
(A) There always busy and the wait time for your order is a bit ridiculous, an I normally don’t have Patients nor the time to stand in line. (B). Usually the krew members on 2nd shift tend to be a bit “rude” and some of them act or give this “Attitude” like your inconveniencing them. It’s like your at your job, your supposed to take care of me..
This afternoon my friend n I decided to stop in for lunch. When I got inside it was slightly busy. Like 2 people in the dinning room and 7 or 8 people in line In front of me and drive thru was packed.
I was already over it because the line was not moving and they had several other employees standing around and (1) one person at the counter “Actually” doing there job and doing there best with what conditions they were working with.
Finally I got to the counter to place my order and I was completely thrown off guard by my cashier. Mrs. Debra was her name and she not only greeted me with a smile and she made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer.
She was completely Thorough with our order she even read the order back and it was taken correctly by Mrs. Debra. I was totally shocked!! I even ask for sauce when I ordered (which I never get) she made sure I got it and when I received my food I was amazed yet again. The food was 100% fresh off the grill, fries hot and fresh..
I will say that this McDonalds Location (#28002 - 3443 S. Carrollton Ave New Orleans) and all McDonalds need to hire and keep staff members like Mrs. Debra.
It’s people like Mrs. Debra who do there best and go above and beyond no matter what ..
I’ll wrap it up with this,
To the Management Team, Front of House & Back of House Staff, I want to say thank you for giving me an AWESOME experience at your location today.
To Mrs. Debra : Keep up the excellent work! You are truly and greatly appreciated and your management team needs to appreciate and Recognize you because your one of the best and strongest employees they have and it’s people like you Mrs. Debra who made a memorable experience for me as well as for others...
Thank you Mrs. Debra I give you a rating of 120%

This location is disappointing. The drive thru line took an era to get through, but I'd initially assumed it was due to a complicated order or two ahead of us. This experience was a hefty reminder that making assumptions is neither best for you nor for me.
We waited at the 1st window for an approximate 20 mins to pay for a simple large chocolate shake, though no one came to take our payment. Again, we assumed that they were perhaps swamped or short-staffed, so we moved to the 2nd window to pay and receive our shake in one go. Wishful thinking on our part.
When we pulled up, the staff were loudly yelling across the kitchen for someone to take our money. The Mgr on duty was lamenting how hot it was inside and then complaining to their staff members about wanting to leave and be done with their shift. After another few minutes, someone did finally come to take our payment, but we still had no shake to show for it—or change, for that matter. Around here is when the Mgr realized that they were loudly complaining with the window wide open, which prompted its immediate slamming.
At this point, we'd come so far and it couldn't be for nothing, so we again patiently waited for the illustrious, illusive large chocolate shake. I want to say that it took another several minutes before someone realized that we were still waiting for our drink and decided to let us know that it'd been sitting on the counter to be handed to us since we'd originally pulled up to the window about 20 minutes prior.
The amount of attitude given in a facial expression when we mentioned being remotely irritated at the unnecessary wait—if looks could kill. I get that working fast food can be frustrating and thankless, but then don't. Work elsewhere.
It's evident that this location has been declining in quality for awhile now, and based on our experience, it's likely to...
Read moreI've tried, on several occasions, to give this McDonalds a chance. It is the closest location to my house, therefore the most convenient. That said, every time I go the food is sub-par. They cannot get chicken nuggets right. Once I went in and another guy came back to return his chicken nuggets because they tasted off. The manager just said "That's the grease, it's just the way the grease is" and she said it with an attitude. It's not the grease. I've been eating at McDonalds for 35 years and if other locations across the US have chicken nuggets that taste fine, then it's definitely an issue with you're grease that's clearly correctable.
The staff: They are rude. The lady that took my order today rushed me through the order and still didn't get it right. Didn't say a word to me at the window when she took my payment. When I got to the second window they had a medium drink sitting there - I ordered a large and large fry. They argued with me, with attitude, so I got forceful and let them know I NEVER order medium and I SAID large. Of course they gave me attitude the entire time, but asked me to pull forward and gave me what I requested. I'm 100% positive they did something to my food. It didn't taste off or look funny, but their attitudes were just bad.
Steer clear of this location. Clearly management and staff need a revamp. I'll happily go out of my way to avoid this location...
