Let's start by saying that if you just walked in, you'd think wow... This place is slooowww for a McDonald's. It's that slow for a reason. You've got a crew that absolutely are paycheck collectors. Not a single sense of urgency or pleasant customer service between the lot of them. The front counter girl says she's only here for the benefits. She's part time and does as little as possible. As soon as I got to the counter, a man of a different race then her, she left and didn't come back up I say there and they told her 3 times I was waiting and she still wouldn't come. Finally the manager came and took my money. I asked her why the girl couldn't come do that. She wasn't working anyone's else's order. It was just me. She said she'd talk to her which consisted of her asking why she didn't wait on me, to which the girl replied she didn't know I was there... A flat out bold faced obvious lie. And that's it.
Then I go to the restroom... And let this begin another nightmare. So there's no paper products in the place. This is after utilizing the facilities that I find this out. So I start yelling and knocking on the doors. Nothing. Then I call. Thru let it ring and ring and ring. Only to continuously hit the end call button on me which you know they do.
I come out of the restroom after using McGyver like ingenuity to take care of myself. I come out and when I asked how does the place not have TP she replied no one told her it was out. If I know my cooperations, there's supposed to be multiple times a day that someone checks the bathroom...? Oh she did say that people steal the toilet paper. Why not put a lock on the dispenser then? I have a lock that they can borrow.
All in all, hands down the worst McDonalds I've been to, and that included canal Street and gentilly... Which if anyone knows those 2, knows that I am serious about New Orleans Micky D's. It saddens me that this is the type of place that has such an iconic name. Id expect this from Burger King... Wendy's ... but you get what you hire. Id like to have heard the interview of some of the employees... To hear what was asked. Like, we expect you to deliver decent customer service, bare minimum. Is that ok? Thru have to have replied, what do you call decent. They show up, don't give a flip, clock in, and collect them hours which yields a paycheck. Id say this store could use a top to bottom personel change. Cooperate level training... You know who doesn't get reviews like these? Chic Fil A...
It's the training, expectations, and accountability... And that model works. Where is that in McDonald's employees? Starts at the top.
They're all watching me write this making little comments about how long I am taking to write it, and because I'm short that's why I'm mad. Look at my reviews. I give great ones when great but sometimes you need to let the public know when it's not worth their time or money to spend at this location. Totally not... St Claude and Franklin could show them a thing or 2... I've been short a long time. I'm a happy person and don't care when it's used as a method of ridicule. Even that behavior doesn't bother more than poor customer service and shotty management. It brings the whole restaurant and neighborhood down. No one is wanting to come here... Rather choose to because there's not much in the area. Now they're trying to act like they wanna fight me, like that's something I'd do with a McDonald's employee... Lol. Female at that. You couldn't pay me to get that mad at a McDonald's employee. I just like to write thorough and accurate reviews when I get the urge
I'll end this by saying I hope it gets better for the neighborhood.
Lol they taking about getting raises... Lord if they do, I'm coming to work for the company ... Asking for 20 and hour and not going really try and do anything while simultaneously make it look like I'm...
Read moreIf it's not one thing it's another with this sad excuse for a McDonald's Whenever you decide you want mcd's your order is either missing something or wrong for speciality orders or they flat out to make your web order even though it was ordered way before the time they're switching menus and after you waiting upwards of 20-25 minutes for them to answer the drive thru or if you order and pick up inside any time around 9:30 pm they won't let you in to get your order even though it's clearly states on the dining room hours as 11 pm they closed down the lobby and force you to get in the drive thru line wrapped around the building no joke all the way around it and let's not forget how rude the customer service reps are or the attitude you get whenever you ask for something extra even if you ask at the drive thru speaker Tonight is no exception to the sad long ass drive thru lines being as i ordered from the app at 9:35 pm and at 7:17 im still waiting In the drive thru line with 7 cars still ahead of me and a text message from the app 35 minutes ago said my order is ready come on in and pick it up Let's hope that I get actual hot fresh food unlike the order from a few night where my food was cold and not fresh but crunchy from sitting in the restaurant for over 30 minutes while I waited in the drive thru line that moved at the speed of a turtle and for the time it took me to post this review i still waiting with 5 cars ahead of me and by the look of it another half dozen cars behind me and I have been in the drive thru for 50 Minutes and still not gotten to the speaker to tell them my mobile order number Sad pathetic shit just to get a burger and fries after working a 10 hour shift at work and hungry as hell Plus already paid...

They will give you your vehicle back for a mere $168.29.
When I explained to them what happened they said I called their driver a liar. Sir, Brother, I did not call him a liar, I told you what the McDonald's employees said and saw. That your guy was around the area seemingly waiting and watching for people to park and see where they were going. McDonald's employees also mentioned the driver came in to ask yet ignored when someone said...
