This hidden gem of a bakery/cafe has been our saving grace! Before our first visit, they kept selling out and closing early, so we knew it was going to be amazing. We live around the corner, and go multiple times a week now. The owner & Chef, Martha, always greets you when you walk in. Blake always has a huge smile and is so friendly, and they are all so personable. There isn't a single thing they sell that isn't short of extraordinary. Easily one of if not THE best croissants we've ever had in our lives. The chocolate chip cookie is gigantic. The Cinnamon Bun is also huge and delicious. Their specialty options throughout the week are always on point and normally gone if you can't get there early for them. Truly, the best bakery/cafe in the area, and probably the city as a whole. I believe she also does private cakes/cupcakes, other specialty things. If you're visiting, plan to stop here Wednesday-Sunday EARLY. We love Nolita, and I guarantee you will also!

Not only was the ordering process a breeze, but my order came out exactly like the inspiration picture I showed. The flavor options were endless. The funfetti was a super fun and delicious flavor. And for my 2nd dozen, I asked if they could do raspberry white chocolate knowing that wasn’t a common flavor. Not only did they say no problem, they absolutely NAILED it. The best cupcake I ever had, truly! The weight of these cupcakes were insane, but still not so heavy it made you feel bad after eating it. The icing was not overbearing where it was tooooo sweet and the icing to cupcake ratio was perfect!! Cannot wait to order all custom cake and cupcakes from them in the future!

I’m in NOLA for Labor Day weekend and I’m soooo glad we were able to swing by. Upon entry we were greeted, the smells were amazing, and the atmosphere was super chill and welcoming. I absolutely love blueberry muffins, and they had fresh ones ready to eat. It was called Blueberry Extravaganza, and man was this muffin bomb!! So moist, sugary crystals on top, and such a great flavor. Martha, you and your team are awesome!! 10/10 My dad and Martha’s dad grew up together. Martha and I have a bit of a similar history, and I’ve heard a lot about her. It was so nice to meet her and be at her bakery! Thanks Martha and can’t wait to see you again!

Nolita is a great spot for early morning and noon snacks and meals! There is a solid variety of sweet amd savory pastries, good pour over and cold brew coffee, or (if you can get there before its gone) the best king cake you've had riveled only by McKenzie's; whose original king cake recipe is chef Martha Gilreath's inspiration. If the king cake is gone, out of season, or you just prefer something a little less decadent: try the Boudin Danish or the classic croissant. No matter what you get the only disappointment will be that you can't get enough. There's a welcoming atmosphere inside and out. Bring your young ones to not only enjoy the delicious pastries, but a "little ones library" for them to enjoy! Expect a warm welcome to your kanine companions aswell, so long as the staff can "ooh and awe" as they meet your furry friends. Nolita is the definitely the...
