Upon arrival, be prepared to look for parking as parking is scarce. After my party and I found parking, we went inside this establishment to order. The colors and openness was different yet cool. We stood in line to order. The message of quality over quickness was relayed as a sign was displayed at the register. We totally understood. We were told there would be an hour wait. We decided to walk to a local convenience store and sit and wait. We ordered around 11:30am. Approximately around 1:15pm, my wife went in to check on our order, because we noticed several patrons after us were leaving with their orders. No one really wanted to take responsibility for how our orders became so delayed. When my wife decided she wanted her money back, the main bagger argued back. Finally, the cashier claimed responsibility for the mess up. We were minimally compensated with a refund for our drinks. I have to admit, the drinks were refreshing, but that did not suffice enough for the experience. Minutes later, I was informed the sweet potato beignet was sold out. Although I was offered a replacement dessert beignet, I declined due to the time it would take to make that particular order. My wife order a pecan pie beignet but did not receive it because the order taker failed to add it to her order. This business has been around since the 2016, but opened this particular location in 2020. I'd think this type of mistake would not be made given how long they've been in business. I start every business with 5 stars. A star each for food, customer service, experience, cleanliness, and organization. The food was good although the crab, egg and cheese beignets were a little salty. A little spice would've been good. The Philly beignet was great and so was my wife's Surph N Turph. The lemon cream beignet's were to die for. We ended up leaving at 2:50, so we were there almost 3 hours!!!!! So I gave a star for cleanliness. The food was ok but not enough for a star. Of course, the experience, customer service and organization was not up to par. We were visiting from out of state, so hopefully these shortcomings are rectified. Be...

Edit: Originally gave this place 5 star review back in 2021. Since, I constantly recommended this place. But what a difference 4 years make. I'll start with ordering, 12:20p we were 2nd in line with 6-7 ppl behind us. We were told it would be a 45min wait. Ok, fine. We’re headed out and this was the last meal. 1:34p comes, no updates for the server with the braces, no checking to see if we need anything, no acknowledgment of eta or the delay. 1:56p she comes to inform us they were out of praline filling At that moment, I should have just said take it off but instead ordered the oreo cheesecake beignet.
2:10p the food comes out and I’m not even gonna hold you, it was disappointing.
The creole beignet was runny and noticeably less flavorful than my original visit.
The oreo cheesecake beignet had a weird dark brown colored cream inside. It wasn’t the cheesecake filling or oreo so I got the server’s attn and asked what was the dark cream and filling inside? She seemed bothered that I stopped her and asked a question. She replied with a lil’ tude- thats the cheesecake. I said it doesn’t taste good nor has a good mouthfeel. Her lips curled and poked, eyes tightened.
We asked for the check 2x. After the first time she said she was getting it, then came to the table without the check to tell us she was going to get it.
And did I mention, the ppl behind us had come and gone while we sat lunchy and
Then after zero service, the server had the audacity to say “there’s a 15% tip required, is that okay?”
Absolutely not! I ordered 2 items that took over 2 hours. We left shortly before they closed at 3p.
Stop using fast food line to justify subpar service. Reputable fine dining restaurant that produce “quality” food would never have 2 hour wait for fried dough.
I shall never return nor...
Read moreWe arrived with an appetite at precisely 12:20 p.m.—what followed was a masterclass in how not to serve a dining room. Our food did not arrive until 2:10 p.m. Yes, nearly two hours later. While no one expects gourmet fare to arrive at lightning speed, this was less of a slow-cooked experience and more of a culinary standstill. The restaurant has boldly chosen to add a 15% charge to both dine-in and takeout orders. One would assume this implies a standard of service or a hospitality experience worth the fee. Sadly, that assumption would be mistaken. Despite dining in, we didn’t encounter our server until nearly an hour had passed—only to be informed that the praline we had ordered was no longer available. This is information that should have been communicated upfront, especially given we were told our wait time would be a modest 45 minutes. To compound the frustration, no utensils were provided, and every basic necessity had to be requested. It became glaringly obvious there was no system in place for servicing guests in the dining area. We watched takeout orders come and go efficiently, while we remained forgotten. Ironically, we were among the first to arrive and yet were somehow served last. The final straw? I declined to pay the 15% service fee—there was simply no service worthy of it. Customers should know they are not obligated to pay additional fees when the service fails to meet even basic expectations. This was not an off day—it was a complete collapse of consistency, communication, and customer care. I will not be returning. Quality must not only be delicious—it must also be...
