Mama Nita's Pizza — Restaurant in New Palestine

Had a bad experience with mama nitas in new Palestine this evening. I ordered our pizza at 6:45pm and they said it would be delivered anywhere from an hr and a half to an hr and forty five minutes. Well it came to be 8:40pm and nothing so I decided to call . Well the young lady on the other end put me on hold then when she came back I asked where my pizza was and she replied it’s on the way . I will put this in there one of us is my 9 year old daughter which her bedtime is 9 o’clock . So I waited and our pizza finally showed up at 9:00pm . Not a very happy camper then I open my pizza to find it was over cooked. Also we literally live 3 city blocks from the restaurant. We use this location at least once a week but in the past couple months the delivery times have gotten worse and worse this straw may have broke the camels back I think I may take my business elsewhere from now on. This establishment has gone down hill over the past year or so. The orders are never right these days; order and pay for extra items but not always get the described items. Ordering extra meatballs for spaghetti in particular and only actually receiving two. Other issues, if you have delivery, make sure you have exact change. Otherwise, if you just stopped at the ATM, you won’t get nearly the change and the tip may be larger than you want to give. The third issue that’s growing...the food arrives sloppy. For instance, if you order wet hot wings; expect to clean everything before eating. The sauce is always dumped into everything. These few listed items didn’t occur just once. Pizza is great, but service is terrible. We bought Mamanitas every Friday for months. After multiple times of arriving to pick up our pizza at the specified time, paying and then being told they are just now putting the pizzas in, we decided we weren’t going back. We decided to give it another try today after a few months off and we were told 45 minutes for our order. My husband went to pick it up, paid and the gentleman went back to get our pizza and came back and told them they were just putting it in and it would be another 15 minutes. Sorry Mamanitas, Done. We would wait an hour if you told us that. How about putting the pizza in when we call, not when we come...
