Lil Dog Bar — Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Flagler Avenue is a quiet patio with tables and chairs, umbrellas, and fans on hot days. This patio is shared by a few restaurants. We visited Lil Dog Bar on Monday because this New Yorker was in the mood for a good hot dog. Lil Dog Bar did not disappoint. I had a dog with brown mustard and relish. My husband had the Johnny, topped with beef chili, chopped onions, and brown mustard and he thought he was really good. WOW!!! As 20-year residents of NSB we were THRILLED to come across this little gem of a spot while walking down Flagler Ave!! Tucked into the back left corner of “The Shops at the Colony” courtyard is the absolutely charming “lil dog bar”- a hot dog/beer/wine/flavored tea bar. Inside atmosphere is captivating, outside courtyard is inviting and the hot dog creations were yummy- all at a very attractive price point!

A hidden gem! Strolling down Flagler Ave we walked back in this relaxing courtyard to find Lil Dog Bar. Gourmet hot dogs with unique and original toppings. An amazing selection of craft beer on draft. The wine selection was impressive as well. We had the Jack'd hot dog with a Florida draft beer and a glass of Rose`.
