The fee to park in the small parking lot is $10 for the day. We ended up parking (along with many other vehicles) in the grassy area and side of road 1/2 a block west. For a Saturday late afternoon it wasn't too busy. The public restrooms have men & women sections with a single toilet for each. It is just a cinder block structure with minimal air flow so be prepared on hot days! Decent public restroom overall. Walkway from parking lot to the beach is a nice short distance and there is a shower area for rinsing off. Please note, the walkway ends in two directions: stairs and a ramp. As of 10/5/19, the bottom of the ramp was "dune-ish" in that it would be very difficult to take a wagon or wheeled item through there to the beach. We ended up carrying our wagon down the stairs. Lifeguard was on duty and sat directly in front of the walkway down by the beach side. This area allows vehicles to drive on the beach, so be prepared if you have small children. Vehicles drive between typical sitting areas and the beach. Always had to be on the lookout for passing vehicles from water to towel/chair. Overall a great spot to...
Read moreThis place is A Fantastic Beach. There is plenty of Beachfront Space for Tents and Umbrellas. There are also lifeguards which is Always a Plus to have and they always patrol in Planes, Boats, ATV's, etc. The One Negative is that if you dont want to park on the Actual Beach aka the Sand Parking can be a Slight issue especially during Peak Seasons Like Summer Especially. However there should be plenty of parking on the Beach itself. Usually during Peak Seasons Summer and Spring there are food trucks that park on the beach and Sell Food Such as Burgers, Chicken Tender, French Fries, etc. The Beach itself is Usually Always Clean and there are plenty of Trash Cans. One thing is that there isn't that many foot washing stations and bathrooms so sometimes the wait times can be long for these services. But Overall this is a Fantastic Beach that I would Definetely Recommend to anyone looking to spend the...
Read moreHidden jewel. 1 bathroom for men and 1 for women. Shower to wash off. Bike racks but parking is only about 20 spaces. $20 per car from 8-5. After Memorial Day there is a life guard on duty. Be mindful there is a huge pipe coming out of the water from oil drilling. No smells just construction guys working but a great spot. There is a hidden boardwalk that takes u to a picnic pavilion area. No power but it is covered. if u stand up u can see the beach. On the street right Behind the parking lot there is free parking. Comes in handy when the tide is high and the lot is full and they stop cars from going on the beach. You will also find quite a few local surfers at...
