PNS Noodle Shop — Restaurant in New Trier Township

I don't like to leave mediocre reviews. Unfortunately the food didn't have much flavor or spice to it as the descriptions stated. The wonton had no flavor, the broth had no flavor, I got the spicy chicken on rice...not spicy in the slightest, nor did it have much flavor and sitting on a bed of white rice that dominated the dish. Very little chicken with tons of rice. Then my favorite part usually, the potstickers, these had no flavor either. Usually the gyoza sauce can make a flavorless gyoza better, but no even the sauce seemed only to be rice vinegar and maybe mirin, no flavor again. I'm shocked. I door dashed the food, but gosh never again. I would give less stars, but they're a small business and it could've just been a bad day. I just didn't think it could've been that flavorless. I’m giving this place 3 stars because I feel Penny’s isn’t the same anymore. I went in on a Saturday, it was dead. They were playing Hispanic music which I thought was odd being an Asian restaurant. The server gave me an attitude because I asked if they were able to make the hot pepper noodle dish mild. For a min she argued with me that it’s not spicy at all..an that they can’t adjust anything.
