Honestly, this deli promotes their food being “halal” but it is NOT. It is not Zabiha. I asked if they slaughter the meat in the name of Allah and they said yes. Meanwhile, you can check their meat that’s stacked on the fridge near the cooking area. The meat is from a company that’s not even labeled Halal. When I asked another time if it’s halal/zabiha, they said “yes it is, it’s not pork”. Well duh it’s not pork but just because it’s not pork, doesn’t mean it’s cut in the halal zabiha way. It’s disappointing how they renovated their place, putting Halal signs on their windows. It’s false advertisements and it’s sad that some Muslims probably ate the sandwiches thinking it’s halal but...

They over charge and make their own prices. A sparkling ice went from 1.25 to 1.50 to $2.00 within a 7 months span. They do that to a lot of items and think no one would notice. I also remember getting a roll with butter & cheese and they had the nerve to slap 1 piece of cheese on there ( didn't notice till i was home) and charge 2.50.I should of took that as a sign to just stop supporting them. Its not even about the money because I can afford it but it's about the principle and not taking...

gives the least amounts of meats on the ave. trys to scheme you on your change expecially if you look a little intoxicated. worst part is they are the closest to the high school and train so business cant bad.... still...
