New nail story — Local services in New York

When I walked in I requested a gel pedicure and acrylic extensions with design. They said they could do it. The guy who did my toes said he’d do my pedicure first to speed things up. For over 3 hours they gave me the run around as they took people who came after me. Finally they said the design was too complicated so only 2 people could do it. I tried to leave twice and they kept insisting I was next.I was beyond annoyed but didn’t want to just walk out. I went to the salon at 2:15 pm from an overnight shift after calling to make sure they could take me, I left at almost 7pm. I understand they were busy but prioritizing faster services over mine that came in after me was disrespectful. In what world does slipping my service repeatedly make sense. And as I kept telling them you can refuse a design if it’s unrealistic, that’s why a client brings reference photos so everyone is on the same page. The middle nail isn’t shaped well but I couldn’t be bothered to ask for a solution as I was beyond mad. Objectively they aren’t the worst but I hate them because the service was horrible. For 5 hours of my day and $178 plus $15 tip I’m annoyed and late to my event. They offered no resolutions or attempts to salvage the relationship...

Straight trash. Ruined my eyebrows. Mismatched my nail color on feet and hands that they insisted was the same color. Got "gel" and peeled off NEXT!!! day!!! Skipped steps in the mani and pedicure process. Left wax on eyebrows. Didn't pluck all the hair. I had an engagement i had to rush off to and I'm not a complainer but when I had an opportunity to really sit and LOOK my blood began to boil. So disappointed. Also they didn't dry my toes with nail fans just air dry, naturally it's winter I had to put my boots back on nails ruined. The obvious approach is that I will not return, and who knows maybe it was just an unlucky day for me with the nails. Bad nail jobs happen. BUT I promise you guys I'm warning you don't get your eyebrows done here. It was done with such effin disregard. And I could understand if I was a problematic person but I'm quite and courteous. Overly polite. Just made no sense to be treated with such...

They aren't that bad but the environment in that nail salon is negative you do not feel welcomed. The employees except Kevin always giving you dirty looks,rude and unperfossinal. Always over pricing. To be honest Kevin is one of the best employees they have so if you have no other choice to go to a nail salon and this is your last option I'll say go in and ask for Kevin. I won't be returning to this nail salon bc last time I went I was given attuided and I was given even more attuided for not tipping them more than 2 dollars which was the only thing I had. Something is something can't be ungrateful. But at least I paid for my set of nails is not like they are doing it for free.
