Queens Public Library at Woodhaven — Attraction in New York

The short male Hispanic computer tech librarian is always talking bad about taxpaying patrons with the other Hispanic woman (Gossip).

They speak so loud you can hear them. They don't care if you need help or quiet. If you ask him for help he just says, "I don't know that's the way it is." And he gets paid to look at cartoons and adult comics. It's bad enough we had to write a review. The library is small but a lot of the older white librarians are very nice. Such as Kenneth. They are the ones that keep that library going. The Hispanic male made us feel so uncomfortable my wife mentioned it later. He also follows women around preying on them if they ask him a question while ignoring any men.

I asked him to get more time on the computer and other time I asked for help but his answers are always showing that he doesn't care about giving a good service. I'm always polite but it's difficult to understand why this kind of rude people is working in a library. I'm wondering if someone care about this reviews because I read lot of people is uncomfortable with the service of this particular male.

The receptionists here are almost always incredibly rude, especially a short heavy-set male sitting in the front who seemed upset for being interrupted from Facebook. He backtalks you for asking plain and clear questions... He should be fired immediately.

It doesn't matter what you ask for, they always look at you with the same blank stare as if you're already supposed to know.

Libraries are a public resource; you shouldn't feel like you're inconveniencing anyone when you try to tap into a public resource.
