This place was HORRIBLE. After seeing so many great reviews and it being right next to us, we were so excited to try it out, we made a lunch date for takeout… and then we got the most dry, flavorless, sad food possible. My kyudon lunch was 80% rice in a tiny bowl, and the beef was dried to death. It tasted bland. I kid you not, the photo attached to this review was upon first opening the container.

We got a slice of the yuzu cheesecake, too, which was an extremely tiny and sad slice. It was so small that a single bite decimated half of it. We didn’t bother with anything else. I’ve only asked for a refund once from a restaurant before, but this...

Very quaint, authentic feeling place nestled in a beautiful part of Queens. The food is excellent, fresh, and delicious. Appetizers, kitchen food, sushi, dessert, all hit perfectly. Owner is very friendly and inviting, seating is limited but makes the experience feel very intimate. My horizons with food are not very broad but this place fired on all cylinders for me anyway. Final and most attractive aspect is price point. Everything is very affordable and portions are reasonable. Very down to earth place, the kind you want to come back to. I...

Nami Sushi in Douglaston is an excellent Japanese restaurant for locals craving sushi without the trek. The location is super convenient which is perfect for a quick lunch or casual dinner without leaving the neighborhood. The space is clean and cozy with a relaxed vibe that makes you feel right at home. Staffs are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the experience is consistently warm and satisfying. This is a fantastic spot for fresh sushi and a chill atmosphere...

After a lackluster omakase dinner in midtown NYC last week (at $200+ per person), we decided to check out a new sushi spot that had just opened. Wow, I'm genuinely impressed—this place is even better than the pricey omakase we tried! The sushi was super fresh, and the flavors were on point. Plus, it’s way more affordable than the omakase place from last week. We’ll definitely be coming back!
