Avocado Sushi — Restaurant in New York

The food here is delicious and deserves 5 stars. The service in person is fantastic and deserves 5 stars. The reason I'm giving 4-I have ordered from this place so many times and the delivery person keeps leaving my food on the porch. The first time I was never called or notified in any way that it had been delivered. My delivery was stolen. I called and told them to not do that anymore please. I told them please always call. Don't text, and above all don't ever just leave it there. Just call so I can come down and have my food handed to me. The second time they text. My texts live on silent. I didn't see that text for 30 minutes. I again called and said please don't leave my food there. Please don't text. Please call. He claimed he called and I didn't answer. This is entirely untrue. There was no call. Last night, he called and angrily shouted at me that he was here. I could literally hear him from my window yelling. I do not live on the ground level. This is also known. I do not wear shoes in my apt. I simply put my shoes on and quickly ran downstairs. I maybe took 30 seconds. This man left my food on the porch. I want to explain something- if u leave something on my porch, it may be stolen quite quickly. If u leave it on my porch, it will get infested with bugs and rodents quite quickly. DO NOT LEAVE MY FOOD ON THE GROUND!! IM TIRED OF TIPPING U FOE A DELIVERY FHAT IS NOT HANDED TO ME THAT I HAVE TO...

My partner and I entered this establishment for a quick meal after visiting the Hyland Blvd location.

Upon entering we realized that it was a significantly smaller establishment with only two tables. That was fine as there were no other diners there. We both sat on the softer sofa on the inside of both tables due to back pain.

The waitress/cashier came over and very rudely asked if we were together and assisted to want us to sit at one table. For a peaceful life, I just told her to bill is separately.

She assisted to have an attitude and rudely grabbed everything off the table. When my partner asked why everything was removed the waitress got even more aggravated and said when we order that's when things would be on the table.

I was uncomfortable and wanted to get up and leave from when the waitress came over ill-mannered inquiring about the seating arrangements. I decided to give her another chance, but once she continued being rude my partner told her that she shouldn't be rude. Customer service makes or breaks a business, it would be in their best interest to retrain staff appropriately. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

We ended up walking out and around the corner to the Mexican restaurant, which was great! I'll be reviewing...

I enjoy Bayhouse so much, I had their food two nights in a row! I wish them luck in their new location! Delivery is prompt, and dine-in was pleasant.

And they were so thoughtful, after I placed my on-line order, I received a phone call asking if I wanted egg in my soup, which might have been a concern for those with dietary restrictions.

My usual order is the buy two, get one sushi roll free, the roti canai appetizer (a fry bread and a chicken curry dip), and the build your own (choose your vegetables, choose your protein, choose your sauce - though I could have sworn the old location had curry sauce options, but I do not see that on the menu now), and I HIGHLY recommend the HOT POT soups, especially for these colder days! and don't forget an order of vegetables, while the price might seem high for those, it is a family size portion and for one person can be three or four servings! The Yu Choy or the Chinese Broccoli is very good. Oh and my dad always enjoys...
