I didn't know, is there a legit 'bagel club?' Found this spot via google maps and thought to give it a try while waiting for my nearby coffee shop to open. Today, before 8am the place was quiet. Only one other customer, who was engaged in a conversation with the guy behind the counter. The shop is spacious and the fact that it wasnt busy and the food items for sale were very spread out, made the place seem very big, too big for the amount of business seen and lack of table seating. It was clean though. Customer service was ok. Straight forward. I went with the sunflower seed (flat) bagel. Not a usual bagel flavor of other bagel shops. It is actually very good. A lot of seeds. If you like sunflower seeds, go for it. I guess it is flat to accomodate all the seeds. I also grabbed two pumperknickel and one everything toasted with cream cheese. The everything wasnt toasted enough for my liking. There was a decent amount of creme cheese. Overall the vibe was off, very quiet for a weekday morning. Maybe they are more of a mid-day lunch spot. They had everything a bagel shop typically has e.g. cream cheese flavors. But not heaping amounts of each compared to City locations which anticipate much more business. While it is a decent place, i wont pick this club over others if I had to choose.

A Must-Visit Bayside Brunch Spot This Bayside eatery serves up delicious bagels and cream cheese, perfect for a Sunday brunch. Be prepared to wait in line, as it can get quite busy. I arrived at noon on a Sunday and there were already about 10 people in line. The bagels are fresh and fluffy, and the cream cheese is rich and creamy. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, so you're sure to find something you like. I highly recommend the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. The service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. This is a great spot for a casual brunch with friends or family.

Bagels are good. The bread is great but it's more their sandwich I don't really like. As a lox bagel lover, I car a lot about the salmon quality. And the one I ordered at Bagel Club was not very tasty. The kind of very basic salmon. I even preferred the sandwich with the chicken coleslaw. The service was the bare minimum and the atmosphere there is a bit "cold". It's a good place for naked bagels or at least with cream cheese !

Poor customer service and COVID occupancy / guidelines / social distancing alert!!! I will never come here again. It doesn't matter the quality of food if the owner and establishment does not care about the customer.

I have been coming here for almost twenty years, I have told everyone I know about this place. When we have any family gathering we immediately stock up here. Well, NO MORE.

Today I called to place an advanced order to 1. Keep down on their max 4 occupancy rule, and 2. Avoid standing in lines outside during the cold weather.

I called at 12:55 for a staff member to tell me that they will put me on hold for one minute while they finished ringing up. At 1:10 (after being on hold for over 15 minutes!!!) I hung up. I tried calling again for another 20 minutes to see if someone would pick up but the phone was off the hook. They've forgotten I exist. Cool.

I drove the ten minutes it took to get there and noticed there are 11 customers inside, more than twice the max 4 occupancy rule. Once people started leaving I enter and watched as they let FOUR OTHERS Behind me to come inside. At this point there is 8 customers Inside again.

I went up to be served, and who takes my order? Dude who left me on hold. I said "hey you guys forgot about me, I called at 12:55 and at this point your phone is STILL off the hook."

This guy looks at me with absolute disinterest "we were busy. Do you want to order?"

Are you kidding me?? Business owners: stop hiring cheap labor - they do NOT care about your business!!!!!! 35 minutes of the phone off the hook and they couldn't care any less. I said "you need to apologize to your boss for the business you have caused him". Staffie smirks at me while the other staff says "just go inside". Staffie walks to the kitchen before turning back around and laughs condescendingly.

The entire time the other staffers had their heads down and doesn't say a word. That speaks volumes. Lady owner comes out and tells me to watch my language.

Watch my language? Watch your occupancy rules. You clearly have no idea what's going on while you stumbled out of the kitchen - OR, you did, and decided to chose NOT to see the side of the customer.

Get better staff. The old generation of this neighborhood are decreasing, and the new generation aren't gonna tolerate this.

We won't even talk about how your bagels have declined in quality over the last few years. I've just been stupidly loyal for no reason.

There are a dozen other bagel clubs in this area, and now you've lost a loyal customer to...

First time I ever came to bagel club was when I was i attending bayside highschool a few blocks away! Skipped class one day, walked over here, got chicken salad on a sesame bagel. That was almost 10 years ago and I still think about it! I still come here maybe 4/5 times a month and my go to order is the French toast bagel with bacon and cream cheese. I’ve tried French toast bagels from a few other Places but Bagel Club has the absolute best French toast bagels hands down. The workers are very experienced and from reading the reviews everyone seems to want some kind of special main character treatment lol. The workers here do an excellent job! The older Gentlemen might seem moody to others but as someone who’s also worked in the food industry I completely understand what it’s like to come to work and just want to get down to business. Not stand around and chit chat with customers lol. To me, the older gentleman is funny and makes me the...
