This is takeout for people who have real Chinese food as a reference point! Everything is reliably good. The beef chow fun is better than most places. Their lunch specials include weekends.

My food was very bland & oily. The boneless ribs tasted rotten. Would never eat here again. If you don’t want to be disappointed- find another spot.

High quality ingredients, they arent skimpy with the protein and it tastes really good. Best Chinese take out in East Queens.

I have been a fan of this local family-owned American Chinese food restaurant for quite some time now, and I must say, they continue to impress me every single time. Today, we decided to switch things up and ordered delivery instead of pickup, and boy, were we not disappointed!

One of the first things that sets this place apart is its affordability. They manage to offer delicious Chinese cuisine without breaking the bank, which is a rare find these days. Combine that with their lightning-fast service, and you have a winning combination that keeps me coming back for more.

Now, let's talk about the food itself. One thing I love about this restaurant is that their dishes are significantly less oily compared to other Chinese eateries in the area. It's a relief to indulge in mouthwatering favorites without feeling weighed down by excessive grease. My wife, who's always watching her diet, is absolutely thrilled to have found her go-to spot for guilt-free Chinese takeout. It's a win-win situation for both of us!

But it's not just the food that makes this place special. The owner, who is incredibly kind and accommodating, has gone above and beyond on numerous occasions. There was a time when I arrived just a few minutes after closing, yet the owner waited patiently for me to pick up my order. That level of dedication and customer service is hard to come by these days, and it truly speaks volumes about the kind of establishment they run.

As for the delivery experience, it was flawless. The food arrived promptly, still steaming hot and beautifully packaged. After a long Thursday, it was such a joy to have a hassle-free dinner delivered right to our doorstep. The entire family gathered around the table, sharing laughter and enjoying the delightful flavors of our favorite Chinese dishes.

All in all, this local family-owned American Chinese food restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets. With their affordable prices, quick service, healthier food options, and a warm-hearted owner who truly cares about their customers, it's no wonder this place has become our ultimate go-to for Chinese cuisine. Whether you dine in or opt for delivery, you're in for a treat that'll leave your taste buds singing with joy.

If you're in the mood for some light-hearted and authentic Chinese food, look no further than this beloved local joint. Trust me, you won't be...

It's been an hour and my food still hasn't came. I called the restaurant and said "hello how are you; the women over the phone replies back "YES" .. I said I ordered my food an hour ago; she said what's the address and told me it's coming. 20 mins later it's still NOT here and the place is literally a few blocks away from me. I'm going to call back and see what excuse she gives me now............... she tells me he left already; once AGAIN. The food ended up coming over two hours later, the sweet and sour chicken was all burnt, the food was all cold. They got the size order's wrong and gave me about 30 fortune cookies. Like its gonna make up the lateness, the wrong order sizes, the burnt food and the nastiness over the phone. That women seriously needs to go to school for manners because you don't treat or talk to customers that way. No class! I will NEVER order from them again. Good...

We ordered 3 items for take out, deciding to order from Chow instead of our usual go to Chinese restaurant simply because it was on our way home after a long day at work. We ordered a lg BBQ ribs, lg fried rice & lg beef lo mein, coming to almost $43...ridiculously expensive given not only the amount ordered but how bland the food was. I had called the restaurant to order but then checked the website to take a look at the prices (after I was given a total for the order on the phone). Much to my surprise the total on the website was $32, around $10 less than the amount quoted to me on the phone. Apparently the menu prices had gone up (an increase of $7 for the ribs alone) but not reflected on the website. Anyway, this will be our last time ordering from Chows. We'll stick with our usual go to places, like Bell Gardens or Keillys, where you will find...
