Be in good health — Restaurant in New York

Considering the close proximity of this particular business to where I live, I figured I’d risk being late to work to support a neighbor/local business. Nice open atmosphere, very clean and organized and it has a very good smell, plus the decor is gorgeous. That alone should at least dictate more than three stars. The owner was extremely open and welcoming, it almost seems that her goal is not to make money per say, but to ensure the health and well-being of her community, based on the short time I spent talking to her. Now as a workout and boxing enthusiast myself, I have had my fair share of protein shakes, but nothing tasted as good or felt as healthy as the custom made shake she sold me. Had to force myself not to scream out loud drinking this on my way to work. It’s about time we had a healthy store in our neighborhood, one to teach the residents that there’s consequences to eating junk food all the time. I've been going here for a good while now since they opened up. They have a friendly staff and a great menu. Salads to smoothie bowls, to regular smoothies to juices to kombucha to wraps to empanadas and paninis and all with a great price. The owner said to me that being healthy shouldn't be expensive, and that's how she runs her business. Super stingy order!!! I got the panini with chicken, sundried tomato and avocado. It came delivered as if it was sat on the entire ride over, the chicken tastes fake and everything feels plastic.
