It is unfortunate for the business that today will be the last time I step foot into this business. I have warned all of my friends and family of the horrible service I received here. For many years, this was my go to spot for Korean BBQ. I have always recommended this spot to everyone I know and have given them a lot of business. We spend at least $100 every time we come here -- even for lunch and we always tip 30%. We travel all the way from astoria to eat at your establishment because we really enjoy your food. However, the servers are very rude and they REUSE THEIR BANCHAN (side dishes)!!!!!!!! That's DISGUSTING!!!!! 🤢🤢🤢

My boyfriend and I came in for lunch and ordered what we usually order -- 2 orders or pork belly to be grilled in front of us. The server however brought out two orders of pork belly that was already fully cooked to crisp. We were confused because this has never happened to us during previous visits. The waitress continued to argue with us for over 10 minutes and told us that's how they've been doing it for over 10 years (but we're not new customers). The servers began shouting and laughing to each other about how we wanted our meat brought out. At that point, we just felt disrespected so we...

Came here for lunch and there was no wait. There’s a parking lot in the back for customers.

Came here for the bbq. You need to order at least 2 things and we ordered the prime ribeye and eel. It looks expensive when just looking at the menu but you get so much food!

First...all the side dishes that come provide a good assortment of flavors and textures. We got this shrimp salad that came out shortly after...which was very light and somewhat refreshing. Then they brought out a basket with some squid, shrimp, and veggies while cooking the meat for us. Later in the meal...a tofu soup and egg dish came out. Everything was yummy! The best part is none of this was ordered or mentioned on the menu so I can’t even say what’s included and what’s not. But this seems standard.

You’re given a little cup with some salt and pepper in oil to dip the meat. The prime ribeye was delicious. Exactly what you would expect from a prime ribeye steak. The eel was okay. We ordered it to not only have red meat but probably would’ve been better off with another meat of choice. There needed to be another sauce for it, which we didn’t have.

Overall it was a very satisfying meal. Servers were prompt and kind. They’ve earned a repeat...

What the hell happened here? Did the ownership change? I used to frequent this place almost weekly when I was living in Little Neck but I moved to Brooklyn. It's been 4 years since I last visited and at that time they were still hopping on the weekends. I decided to visit this place for old times sake instead of going to chilsung garden nearby which btw is a real proper kbbq place with great selections of delicious food. I ordered some beef combo for my family and hearty rich soup that I was expecting. What came instead was literally the cheapest quality of beef I have come across in a while anywhere and soup that was pungent and had weird aftertaste so I left it alone for the rest of the meal. After trying to have some composure and eat what I could I concluded that they are definitely cutting corners and quality of ingredients are not being looked after in the kitchen. It is so sad to see once a real authentic and great korean restaurant fall so hard from its grace and leave a bitter taste literally in my mouth. It seems that they may be gasping for air and taking a last deep breath for whatever little life they have left in them. No soul and love in their food makes me...

I won’t recommend my friends to come here since the beef is too chewy. Also there are more reasons First, the menu doesn’t make sense AND the staff is not smart. I told the staff I order D.14 and seems she doesn’t understand English well. She needs to double check what D.14 is in Korean. I order the same dish 4 times and finally she ask someone else to help us. Is that so difficult to order one dish? And then I found out there are two dishes in same number D.14, that’s why that person get so confused. Second, we ordered Beef Combo but the beef is soooo chewy, very hard to bite. Third, all the rest dishes are just ok, not surprising, some of them even taste bad, for example, the COLD NOODLE is chewy and raw, The spicy pork rice is too salty. Btw, the Cold noodle came at very last moment and only came when I want to cancel the order. The best dish in here is the free roe rice. It was really good AND I ate three bowl. Overall, Around $60/each person it’s not worthy.

When I arrived at this restaurant, it was still closed. The posted hours were 11:00am-11:30pm. It was 11:50am. When it did open there was a smell of gas at the table. The grill wasn't on and we were the only customers. It dissipated after a while. These two reasons are why it was a 3 instead of a 4 for me. We ordered the lunch special beef noodle and LA Galbi and the Gopchang Chulpan. They served several different Banchan. They were good. The noddle soup was huge and spicy. Plenty of noodles. The Galbi was tender and came off the bone easily. It was very good. The charred bits were delicious. The Gopchang Chulpan was very good. It would have been excellent if it came out more sizzling. It was sizzling a little. I could have gotten a nice crispy rice if the iron plate was hotter. Good food but unreliable hours.
