Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe - Bath Ave — Restaurant in New York

⭐ 1 STAR — If I could give zero stars, I would.

We had one of the worst customer service experiences ever at Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe on Bath Ave. I went there with my family excited to try the new spot — and I seriously regret it. First red flag: nobody greets you. We walked in, stood at the register — visibly waiting — for 20 minutes. Multiple staff members made direct eye contact with us and still didn’t bother to come take the order. My husband literally had to call out to them twice before someone finally moved. We placed an order including an açaí bowl for my daughter, who has a severe nut allergy. The menu clearly showed no nuts in the bowl she picked, and we explicitly requested no honey. What did we get after waiting forever? A bowl with NUTS. If I hadn’t caught it, this could’ve sent her to the hospital — or worse. When we brought it up, they casually said, “All granola has nuts.” Not only was there zero accountability, there was zero concern for a child’s life-threatening allergy. They eventually agreed to remake it — after another 20-minute wait — and guess what? The replacement came with honey. At that point, we were done. We asked them not to charge us for the açaí bowl that they got wrong twice. They refused. Oh, and they also forgot my iced latte completely, like it was never even ordered. When we asked for a manager, we were told his name is Ahmed — but surprise, no manager on duty. I don’t know how a newly opened business thinks it’s okay to run without management while the staff acts like they couldn’t care less about customers. Bottom line: horrible service, dangerous allergy negligence, and no accountability. I highly recommend you skip this place — it’s not worth your money or your time, and definitely not safe for anyone with dietary...

Smoothies and refreshers are delicious! I would stick to the sweet food items and drink menu. I was super bummed by the feta sandwich. It was unseasoned feta chunks plopped on a piece of toast with some random mint leaves and tomato. No seasoning and no sauce. It was not worth eating unfortunately. The olive halloumi sandwich is the same, but with olive. It also took about 30 minutes for these to be prepared, there were no other orders ahead of mine. Probably won’t order food here ever again. The music is pretty loud. I’ve had trouble hearing the cashier on several occasions. The first time I came in, I ordered the mango smoothie and the pina colada smoothie. I just got two mango smoothies. They were very tasty but I was bummed I didn’t get what I ordered. It felt like the staff were really stressed behind the counter so I didn’t say anything...

I want to this place after my kids graduation we are ordered drinks and some sandwiches and some stuff, the workers are so bad they take our order after 30 minutes they make it our drinks after 20 minutes they made sandwiches after an other 40 minutes they made our order my daughter she finished her sandwich they made our order that's so bad I never had that experience before in my life ,we had our orders in separate time that was a ridiculous, the workers talk with each other.
