Grand 2020 Banquet & Party Hall — Attraction in New York

Firstly, I would like to say that you would never know this place exists from the outside which makes it feel much more of a great and surprising find. The decor is absolutely wonderful. The quality of the table cloth and fabrics are great. They are also modifiable to your theme which is a big plus. The lighting of the 2020 is also great and adjustable to fit your theme. The venue is surprisingly big enough to accommodate up to 150 guests with a wooden dance floor right in the middle. Valentina was the main person. She was great and extremely accommodating. The bartender, Dom and their partner were very professional and courteous. They recognized what I liked and kept the drinks flowing. It truly felt like a personal touch. The Dj, Dj Sky was a last minute replacement, but he did a fenominal job by keeping the music flowing and on par with the requested theme. All in all, I truly enjoyed the experience and have now found my go to party hall. As far as the price goes, I have researched many party halls in the bath beach, bay ridge, and bensonhurst area. By far, the Grand 2020 Banquet is the best bang for your buck. Food, drinks (water, soda, and juices), decorations, service are all included. The only thing you have to provide is the alcohol.

We came here for a small party. They had a modest Italian buffet (pasta, chicken and eggplant parmigiana, sausage, vegetables, bread). There was just enough food out for about 100 people. You go from the main room into a smaller “lounge” area with a small bar area to get to the buffet. Sad to say, the food was nothing memorable. You can tell it was mass produced. The bathrooms were also INCREDIBLY small. Forget space to turn around. Forget modesty in the male restroom because you can see the other urinal as soon as you open the door. I mainly gave the place one more star because of the decor. The table center pieces were high “branches” with fairy lights, which made a nice atmosphere. They had “gold” plates as the place setting, which also made a nice first impression. It was a little disheartening to see that they were plastic and the plates for the buffet were plastic as well. In the end it was a lukewarm experience with a nice one minute...

Valentina and staff were amazing!!! I had my daughter’s sweet 16 here and everything ran so smoothly. Valentina was absolutely amazing through the whole process, from start to finish!! She was so accommodating, which was able to put me at ease. She was very attentive in all areas and helped put my vision to life. Everyone had an amazing time and the staff were so friendly and professional.

DJ Victor was phenomenal, his ability to read the room and crowd is definitely immaculate. Everyone enjoyed the music. The pricing was very reasonable, I couldn’t ask for a better hall and staff to help celebrate such an important moment for my daughter.
