Bronx Deli & Grocery NY Corporation — Restaurant in New York

This place used to be a small corner store/deli. I swear they made the best sandwiches and hamburgers in the whole Bronx at a cheap price for 5 dollars. I used to get food there every morning before heading to the train station to go to school. Sometimes I’d eat the food on the train cuz of how good it was.

But things changed. They shut down. I didn’t know what was going on for like a year and a half. When it finally reopened I was surprised to see that they were “renovating” the place. I will admit I liked the fact that they had tried to expand, but they didn’t really expand the way they shouldve. They’re trying to be a mini supermarket, when in all honesty they should’ve been a restaurant or better yet, just a better deli store.

For one, the prices rose. I get the economy is changing, everything is getting pricey, and would be worth it, if it weren’t for the other issues.

The second issue is that while the store seems to have gotten bigger and has added more, the drinks are no where to be found. The cans are left outside warm. How am I supposed to get a free can with my order when a. My favorite isn’t there and b. If it is, it’s warm.

Third, the layout is messy and clunky. It’s trying to be a supermarket when there’s clearly no room for its layout.

Fourth, there’s already a supermarket by this place. Don’t try to compete with what’s there, just do what you were doing (which had a lot of success considering how many people used to come there every morning for their sandwich).
