CTown Supermarkets — Local services in New York

This store isn’t the worst I’ve seen but not the best. The employees are friendly but, they don’t cater to a diverse community ( I understand it’s a large Latin community) this supermarket is also very over priced especially for the low income community they serve. My BIGGEST issue with this store is I have seen produce like parsley or cilantro fall on the FLOOR and the employee actually picked it up and put it back as if nothing happened. This store is only my emergency store for items that are sealed! That’s pretty disgusting.

The price gouging at this supermarket has become a real issue for me to the point I have reported them to 311 and the DOH. We need to do better as a community demand better why take care of these business that rob us! I will not spend another...

Every other week I have to return food back , The date on the package is not expired but the food is ... What is happening is the owners are purchasing products and shelving the food way to long thinking because the date is still not at the current month it's fresh and it will be good but it's not , especially due to the hot weather or they are over freezing refrigerator foods ànd it's freezer burned this has to stop .And the thing that annoys me the most is the manager see me there twice a week and when I come in with the spoiled food she starts off with are you sure you brought here. So before going to CTown supermarket I went to BJ's I had my items in a huge zippered bag the manager of CTown happened to see my wife and myself with said bag's and told us that we had to check in our bag's no problem there everyone has to do this so now we shop around for maybe 20 and as we're standing on line I notice the manager open the bags we checked in and start searching them so I rush over and ask him what he was doing and his response was we have people who come in and steal now my question is how can we steal anything when our bag's was left at the door seems like profiling to me so never again will I...
