The female owner to this place needs to get some education and get trained in how to treat people specifically when they are giving you their business i went there in person and experienced horrible customer service from her and as well to others clients that were there ahead of me same thing over the phone learn some manners because a business doesn’t made it’s own it needs the customer that you mistreat to stay open never taking my business to this place again.
On regards of your response to a review in a very unprofessional way yes the female owner because there is also a male owner just to clarifies that to you never hate given you my honest review instead of attacking the reviewer practice good customer service and your business will be more successful just keep that in mind keep mistreating people that saids a lot about you. You do not need to know when this happened just know it happened and i gave you the benefit of the doubt but hey you did it again is just in you to mistreat others.
I religiously used to get queso de hoja fresco almost daily there 25 dollars which is a overpriced item but i chose to buy so i care less for the price i will come back if i like the product which honestly speaking is good and i will buy over and over but what i do care is how i am treated and how others are treated as well BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE is the first ingredient to a...
Read moreDisappointed but Still Drawn In by the Homeland Goodies
Honestly, coming to this place is a mix of emotions. It’s nice to find a variety of products and goodies from the Homeland that you don’t usually see in regular stores in the U.S. That’s probably the biggest draw. You walk in and instantly spot those familiar items that bring comfort and nostalgia.
But here’s the problem: the prices are outrageous. Even for products I know I can get in places like Washington Heights, the markup here is excessive. For example, I was excited to get a coconut dulce, but not only was it overpriced, the temperature wasn’t right. When I opened it, it had gone bad, it wasn’t even edible. That was really disappointing.
On top of that, the customer service needs serious improvement. The staff, especially the ladies working there, were rude and dismissive. Their attitude makes the shopping experience unpleasant, and the only reason you stay is because you’re hoping to grab those hard-to-find goodies.
In my opinion, if you need specific items like medicine or rare treats from back home, it might be worth a quick visit. But for everyday things like salami, cookies, or pantry staples, it’s not worth the inflated prices or the bad attitude. Definitely not a go-to spot for...
Read moreI send my girlfriend to buy queso geo the original one and the lady saids the queso geo its the original one and I told my girlfriend to tell them to cut the queso geo in half, when I got home I compare the two queso geo, the one I bought here and the one I brought from Dominican Republic and they were two different queso geo, the one I brought from DR it's the original one and the one they sell me, I do t even know if is real cheese you have to see it for your self, they would make you feel that you buying something authentic from DR and you end up buying something different, I spend 25 dollar on this cheese which is not what I was expecting, the one in their website had a price of 20 I bought it on 11/09/2024 for 25 and already thought it in the garbage because I'm really disappointed with this purchase, it gives you a bad taste and the worst part is that they don't sell it in half but only the whole cheese so anyone who sees this cheese in half won't buy it because it doesn't taste the same and the one they sell it's like white and the original one is a orange color.
