I use to believe this carvel was the best withen queens. I believed their customer service was great until yesterday September 2nd at 8pm. The worker with black hair was probably the most rudest person i have EVER encountered. I was extremely disgusted by all her side comments and horrible attitude. Isnt carvel suppose to be children friendly as well? What was the boss thinking to hire such a mean worker working as a cashier? Yesterday, i purchased a cone, unfortunately a fly flew onto it. I asked the black haired woman worker for a spoon so i can scoop off the top of my ice cream. She then gives me so much attitude while ROLLING her eyes as well “what do you want me to do if a fly flew onto your icecream.” She repeated this about 3 times. LIKE? Excuse me? All i did was ask for a spoon. A couple of my friends whom i were with, recognized the worker and have told me that she was ALWAYS a difficult & rude worker. I think she should be be re-evaluated or fired because no worker in that place is as rude and disgusting as she is. Oh but the elder asian man actually saw me wipe off my ice cream into the trash & asked me if there was something wrong. He even made me a new one. He was so much more respectful & kind than the other worker. That is why i gave this carvel two stars instead of one. All im saying is workers should reapect customers & not give unreasonable attitude...

I went here recently to buy a bday cake as usual and requested writing (happy bday —). Usually, the staff working there would have nice/decent icing skills and write beautifully with the icing (except for slight slants which is totally understandable). Therefore, I never checked the final result and always paid and left. However, whoever iced my most recent cake did a terrible job… to the point I was debating whether or not I should scrape off the letters. I don’t know how to describe it but all i can say is that it looked like chicken scratch. There was no consistency in letter sizing and all the letters were slanted in different directions… as if a kindergartener wrote it. I was embarrassed to present the cake and even apologized to the birthday person because the icing looked horrible. I probably won’t be back here for another few months so I’m hoping the worker who iced my cake improves their writing/icing skills or that I encounter another staff. Also, their prices increased.
