China King — Restaurant in New York

This is supposed to be the best Chinese food in the area w/ incredibly highly rated reviews. I’ve ordered from this location several times & my experience was fair. But yesterday it was terrible! I called for a delivery order for 2 meals shrimp & broc & chicken wings w/ plain chicken fried rice. Based off the phone call I knew our order was going to be wrong. The receptionist cannot comprehend & take orders correctly & mistaken our chicken wing order for 2 pieces instead of a full meal. Like who does that?? Why would we ask for 2 pieces of wing w/ rice? So when I saw the mishap after we had already paid for the food & had it delivered. I immediately called the restaurant bck for clarification. Since when do you guys serve only 2 wings in a meal with rice? They assumed that’s what we wanted. So since they claimed that’s what I was charged with we accepted that.. even tho that isn’t what I ordered. Just to be fair… Now the wings were actually undercooked anyway. So we opted for a new fresh order of wings fried well done. Ofc the money hungry thieves didn’t approve our request for a refund so the manager I spoke too said that they’ll bring us a new batch of fresh wings. Ok cool right? So now I get a call from the delivery driver & as soon as we open our door this man sped off with our food! Unbelievable of this place. They are just money hungry thieves w/ no care for their customers & do not know how to run a business. The staff doesn’t even know what their doing & cannot process information correctly. Do not show them any patronage. The food quality isn’t even up to par. There was so much going on & frustration I couldn’t even think to get any footage. If I can give zero stars for this place I would. Just despicable & rude! Especially the female co- manager Danfeng Chen! A disgrace. They werent even trying to rectify...

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Horrible experience from this restaurant. This restaurant only takes cash no card but the restaurant said we could zelle them. Initially when we placed the order we paid for our exact food amount and zelled the tip immediately once our food was delivered. The delivery driver called saying he was outside then we zelled the restaurant a tip. We opened the door and saw the driver was parked infront my house. The delivery driver was sitting in the car yelling “come” from his car window. We were confused because we expected the food to be at the door. we had no shoes on to walk to the car. The man kept shouting come to the car and get your food since you have no money for tip. We were confused and appalled because we were being spoken to so abrasively. The delivery man walked up to my home and made another comment about tip. Once the delivery driver called and said he was outside we zelled a tip. Afterwards we called the restaurant and let them know how disrespectful their employee was and I requested my tip to be zelled back. The restaurant refused and stated they would give me a credit in my next order. No longer any good, DO NOT EAT HERE. I ordered a small garlic chicken, an order of fried fish, a pintbof Lobster fried rice, and a pint of plain fried rice for $27.50. When I got the food home liquid from the alleged chicken in garlic sauce had leaked all over, upon examining the partially open container I found peppers and onions a couple slices of zucchini, 2 pieces of broccoli, a few slices of string bean & carrots and almost no chicken in a sweet bell pepper flavored sauce, they must of added sugar instead of garlic. I called them back to find out if perhaps they gave me the wrong order, instead the person said chicken in garlic sauce is actually vegetable with chicken in garlic sauce, I said to him when I order Chicken in garlic sauce I expect some chicken and some garlic, he responded next time I should ask for extra chicken, I said I don't want extra I just want some chicken and garlic at which point he hung up on me.
