This masjid is truly a beautiful and peaceful place for prayer and reflection. From the moment you enter, you’re welcomed by a sense of calm and cleanliness that reflects the dignity and sanctity of a house of Allah. The carpets are spotless, the atmosphere is serene, and the overall environment encourages khushu (focus) during salah.

One of the things I truly appreciate is how well the masjid accommodates both brothers and sisters. The women’s section is located upstairs and is kept very clean, quiet, and respectful. It’s clear that the masjid committee values the comfort and inclusion of all worshippers. The wudu areas are also well-maintained and stocked with everything needed to prepare for prayer properly.

There’s a strong sense of community here — people are warm, respectful, and mindful of the space. Whether you’re attending daily prayers, Jummah, Taraweeh during Ramadan, or simply stopping by for personal worship, this masjid offers a welcoming and spiritually uplifting experience.

The management that counts money after jummah has no regard for the etiquette of Masjid and talk during sallah, during Athan or khutba so as some of the musallies. There is no announcement me. This is house of Allah swt. We come here to speak to Allah swt and in our own community, we can't even do that. I hope they take this issue seriously and advise brothers to stop talking in the masjid. This is place of worship and not entertaining...

The Islamic Foundation of New York is a marvelous structure located in Queens Village. It is newly constructed and offers five times prayer for people plus Jummah prayer (Friday). The sister's (female) area is located upstairs. The mosque has facilities for Wudu and there is some parking space on the street. The environment is nice and clean.
