Detective William T. Gunn Playground — Attraction in New York

part of p.s. 18 school, it has basketball and handball courts, 2 playgrounds for the kids, a small exercise station, chess tables and a q43 bus stop in front. It is next to preller field parking lot and the fence separating is ugly and full of weeds with construction material pressed on it from the preller field side. It is a park and should be a respite from city life and should therefore be much better kept. there is also a very large paved area in the back that looks deserted and forgotten. The city could easily plant trees and install benches, improve the fencing and add a proper exercise...

Spent my high school years coming here with friends. Made a lot of memories and had a lot of fun. It's a wide open space for kids to run but also has swings and slides for them to play. There is a few handball courts and a bigger empty space in the back that my friends and I use to hang out at. Its connected to a elementary school so kids might come out...

Nice quiet park to take the kids in the morning. A little mind boggling to see adults doing their workouts in the kids area. My son and niece were scared to go on the the kiddie slide because someone was exercising on it. Reaaaalllyyy awwwkkkward and...
