Upon entering, I found the interior of Cookies and Cream to be very nice and well-lit, with a few tables available. The cookies on display looked appealing, though I did not try them.
My visit was ultimately disappointing due to the high prices. A small ice cream was priced at $6.25, with an additional $1.25 for a sugar cone, bringing the total for the smallest cone to a staggering $7.50. This pricing feels exorbitant and is, in my opinion, a complete rip-off. A person could purchase a gallon of ice cream and a box of cones from a supermarket for less. While I recognize that the shop is located in a high-end neighborhood, the prices are unjustifiable for the portion size and quality.
The ice cream itself was good, but it was not spectacular or unique enough to warrant the premium pricing. Given the high cost and average quality, I would not return to this establishment, even to try the cookies. I believe that with its current pricing structure, Cookies and Cream is unlikely to succeed and will face the risk of going out of business in the...
Read moreLet me tell you this place is a gem of the south shore. Not only are the cookies and ice cream to die for but the staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I was told by the staff and the owner that the cookies are baked fresh everyday and all the dough is made in house with no preservatives, like your grandmas cookies. The taste is amazing nice and warm and not too sweet. The ice cream is spectacular with a huge variety of flavors. They even have cereal and ice cream, cookies with ice cream on top, alcohol infused ice cream and sorbet and even more. If you are gluten free or vegan they even have cookie options accommodating both. This is definitely the place to go if you are on the south shore of Staten Island or even on the north this blows crumbl, insomnia or any other place like it out of the water. If you are looking for a nice warm fresh cookie this...
Read moreSo, this was my first time at Cookies and Cream, and honestly, I wasnât too impressed. The place was empty, but there were four workers just standing behind the counter. Some were chatting, others were on their phones, and I had to wait a few minutes before anyone even noticed I was there. Not the best first impression. I grabbed a batch of cookies, but they were pretty underwhelming. They were raw in the middleâdefinitely not the soft, chewy kind I was hoping for, more like dough that wasnât fully baked. Overall, the staff seemed more interested in their phones than helping customers, and the cookies didnât live up to what I expected. I wanted to like this spot, but I donât think Iâll be back...
