Crown Fried Chicken — Restaurant in New York

I used to be a loyal customer at this Crown Fried Chicken location, visiting about once a week for years. The food used to be fresh, hot, and consistently good—something I genuinely looked forward to. Unfortunately, that has not been the case recently.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a serious decline in the quality of their food. The freshness, flavor, and overall preparation just aren’t what they used to be. Most concerning of all, a few days ago I purchased some chicken and ended up with a terrible stomachache after eating it. The pain was so intense that I couldn’t sleep that night. This was a very disappointing and alarming experience, especially coming from a place I used to trust.

I’m not sure what has changed—whether it’s the ingredients, the cooking process, or management—but something is definitely going downhill here. I hope the owners or staff take this feedback seriously and bring the quality back to the standard it once was. Until then, I’ll be...

They thought I was just a dumb little kid they could overcharge. The first order was 21.56. Paid for. Then I added two thighs and a drumstick. Went from 23 to 8 to 25. Claims I didn’t pay for the first order yet. There aren't many choices for lunch where I work with in walking distance, so I go here often. The guys that work here are all nice and always remember you. Fried food every day is not easy on the body, but they have salads also & I usually get the grilled chicken salad.
