Crush Bar and Lounge — Restaurant in New York

We ended up here late one night after needing a chill spot for a few hours. This is definitely NOT our go to place and had it been only me, I wouldn’t have gone there. Valet parking is $20, $10 per person to get in and a basic hookah was $60. They had only two flavors to choose from. I was shocked at the hookah price! A Khalil Mamoon hooka with an ice hose is $50 in Manhatthan with endless refills!! We have no issue paying for anything but do not overcharge us. We get hookahs every weekend and I’ve never in my life paid $60 for the cheapest and most basic hookah lol. The music was so loud to the point where it was deafening, we had to type on our phones to communicate. 💀We felt hustled and watched the moment we got there. There isn’t anything spectacular about this place. Anyway, we stayed for only half of an hour. It is definitely a Latin spot and we felt so out of place with everyone staring at us 😂😅. SHADY BRONX SWEAT-BOX. I LOST MY WALLET BUT LUCKLY I DISCONNECTED ALL MY CARDS IMMEDIATELY. A FEW HOURS LATER MY STOLEN CARD WAS USED TWICE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT, IN WHICH I FOUND STRANGE. BOTH TRANSACTIONS WHERE DENIED. I CALLED THE LISTED BUSINESS NUMBER AND THEY DID NOT ANSWER, I THEN RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER BUT MY PHONE ONLY RANG ONCE (SUPER SHADY). SO I CALLED BACK AND SPOKE TO “THE OWNER” . HE OFFERED NO HELP, NOT EVEN AN INVITE TO REVIEW THE CAMERA. AS A BUSINESS YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO I.D ALL CARD TRANSACTIONS ESPECIALLY IF THE FIRST IS DECLINED AT SUCH A HIGH AMOUNT, TO AVOID NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. SUPER SHADY PLACE I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED IF THE PERSON COMMITTING THE FRAUDULENT PURCHASE WITH MY CARD WAS IN ON IT WITH THE “OWNER”. SHAME ON YOU GUYS. Didn’t even make it 5 feet into the place and it already gave me shady vibes. Me and my friends just wanted to go to a spot to hang out and have a drink or two. They only take cash, but this wasn’t the issue. We went on a Tuesday night and they have a body guard outside that patted my friend down before we even went inside, but that wasn’t the worst part.
