Desi Bites Cafe (S Richmond Hill) — Restaurant in New York

Make it make sense! Why would you take orders over the phone when you’re not even gonna get it ready after the promised time?? Poor service. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. Stop taking order on phones if you’re not gonna make it ready. I used to go in regularly but this was the last time I go at this place.

Sure! I had placed an order around 1:30-2 for a sandwich and specifically asked them to get it ready by 2:30 since I had to walk from my work place and I don’t want to wait on my break time for it to get ready. I was at the cafe and after 5 mins she told that with an attitude that it takes time to grill the sandwich, but why? I specifically mentioned that it would be my break time and I wont be able to wait and then go back and eat, we don’t get long lunch breaks. This happens every single time. They would say that come in 10 mins and after 10 mins they make us wait another 10 mins. Sorry but the attitude of the ladies working...

I really loved this restaurent's food since it's opened..the food is going more delicious everyday ..I never get disappointed even a single time..everything is perfect not only food even the staff is so polite nd humble ..the owner is so responded ..I checked he replied every comments does nt matter who liked or not thats the gentleman thing ..really salute to him nd the whole management team..once again ..thnxx for the delicious food ,100%great service at counter nd the whole management team..I would definately suggest everyone to come nd enjoy their food bcozz price is also so good and specially mixveg,paneer bhurji,gaajar matar,gopi ,bhindi,daal,,..are v v delicious vegetables ..thnkyu..even I m posting pics for mix veg u can check everything inside that vegetable like,okra,potato,beans,carrot,cauliflower,green peas etc...is really perfect mixture of mix veg..thnkyu specially the salad is so...

There is no complaint regarding the food. The food is really good here. But can we please talk about how rude the front lady was? She does not know how to talk properly. We got some uninvited guests and we thought of desi bites. Me and my brother went and google said it was open for another hour. We did not know that they were closing soon. The lady said nothing. We said we wanted tikki burger and she said there’s one tikki so you can’t get anything else like tikki chaat. We were ok. Then I said I wanted Fruit falooda but with some customizations and this lady was rushing through and she was like I can’t do. She straight away said we are closed, we are closed. First off if you were closed why was the door still open? Why did you not tell in the first place? And most importantly why were you still taking orders? I also work in the food industry but we never treated...
