I would highly not recommend this place. They are good at collecting money but once you have an issue it’s on you and it’s your problem. As stated in other reviews the place is dirty and not sanitary. One of the issues we had was constant flies flying around in the month of February which hardly has flies outside since it’s cold they shouldn’t be around this bothered our guest and was nasty. We killed 15 flies not even exaggerating. They said they gave us 6 hours to set up but keep in mind a lot of that time was used to kill flies/ cover the food and mop.Prior to this baby shower starting we told the manager she gave us bug spray to spray at them like if we are exterminators. This shouldn’t have been an issue if the place was kept clean. Which that shows it’s not kept clean. We sprayed the bug spray since we couldn’t really do much since the events the day of and it would look wrong on us if we cancel last minute.So we sprayed the bug spray and during spraying it made the floor slippery to the point my brother who was helping me set up fell. This is a danger hazard due to the fact it made floor slippery and my girl being pregnant could have fallen or any off my guest. My girlfriend mom had to mop the floor because the solution they gave us made the floor slippery everywhere and didn’t take care of the flies. We had to go buy paper wrap and had to use boxes to cover the food/dessert table due to this being a food hazard violation not accepted by department of health. Someone could have seriously got hurt/ ill and they wouldn’t care . We paid almost 4k and this place was not cleaned/ ready for our event. We paid for the the led light extra and the system they gave us was not working properly had guest complain the lighting is bad. We complained to the security guard he was clueless on how to work the lights. We had to figure out the lights on our own each light is scattered everywhere so u have to keep guessing where the lights are at and which light is which because they behind curtains/ rooms. The table fell on my elderly family and brother family but lucky they was able to catch it and fix it themselves.It was not set up properly which should have been done beforehand because someone could have seriously got hurt especially that I had kids attending . The chairs and floor and table were dirty old chairs/old table no wonder they make you pay for table cloths to hide the dirtiness. They say they helped us out during the light issue but they never did they lying. Also the bug spray did not fix anything up but made it slippery. This place is dirty to the point I had my own family complain to me why did I choose this place out of all the venues they had around the area which I’m sure it would have been a better option. We had no answer for them because we was embarrassed. They are good at collecting money but not fixing stuff up window outside was cracked and for the amount you pay everything should be clean/fixed up. They said management was on site throughout the evening they weren’t because we was dealing with the flies ourselves and she gave us a spray and left . They said they have text that they were helpful but they responded by giving us bug spray . We paid for cleaning that was not cheap . The place was not cleaned at the time they said like they stated. We tried contacting them afterwards after our event to get a partial refund they ignored us we tried calling/texting/emailed them they ignored us we gave them like a month to see if they would contact us back they didnt until we wrote a review. Then got in contact with us offering us a voucher which I don’t even want to use because of how terrible this place was. We paid almost 4k and that’s their solution to our terrible baby shower. After attending my brothers wedding, we honestly wanted to not have our daughters first birthday here. Unfortunately our deposit was non-refundable. We paid over $4000 for this hall for our daughters birthday and honestly not worth anything close to that. Let’s start with Nicole the “manager”. She is someone who tries hard to be professional but she’s far from it. My brother had a hard time with her and we did as well. She took a week to reply to all of us. When she did, she had a nasty attitude. We had so many complaints about this hall. Chair cushions fell off most chairs, chairs themselves were wobbly and old. The bathrooms were not cleaned. There were no hand soap in the bathrooms. The tiles on the dance floors were cracked. Guest almost fell walking to the bathrooms. Servers and bartenders packed so much food that was catered by us personally and did not ask if they can take any. Highly unprofessional and ghetto staff members. Nicole promised us chair covers and then all of a sudden wants to charge us more money. The chair covers were 2 hours late which delayed the setting up process. We had to put 120 chair covers by ourselves. When I tried to ask Nicole what time the chairs covers were coming, she had a nasty attitude as if it’s not her problem. Everything we were promised did not happen. Nicole lied about a lot of things and when we called her out on it, she got angry. We will never recommend this hall to anyone. Nicole, the staff and this hall is highly unprofessional, not clean and not worth a penny! Also after reading other reviews and seeing the responses from the owner, I just want to say, stop making excuses. I’ve tried to reach out multiple times about the issues and they do not care. we had a couple issues with the place that left us and guest really stressed out. the lights were not given good instructions on it. So what they show you when you originally view the place won’t be the same at all. The app kept disconnecting / not working. So the lighting in general was bad. The place was a still dirty when we enter such as chairs and tables. We had to pay for a clean up crew for it to still be like that. Doesn’t make sense. So we was struggling to clean up before guest showed up. They had 3 tables that were not fully set up properly that one actually fell on our guest..another on someone els during the event which causes a safety issue. Anyone coulda gotten hurt .. the place was infested with flies and we complaint the night before. They said they will deal with it gave us a spay. the spray they gave us didn’t help there was still flys all around we killed about 15 and up .. on top of it made the floor extremely slippy someone fell. This is a huge safety issue Especially for myself being so far along in pregnancy I coulda fallen. We had to mop the floors so no one els will get hurt. The guest complained about the flys annoying them. we shouldn’t have been doing all this cleaning and table checks shoulda be fixed before the event. Especially the table and fly issue. You have to get your own speakers , your own food when other places offer a sound system of food included. You have to pay for the table cloths and chairs set up. Which you will need cause they were dirty. We payed a lot for this place and We feel like we was cheated on the place it wasn’t what we originally viewed.
