DriftBK is not worth your money or your time!

Here’s why: My sisters and I traveled 1 hour and 30 minutes to DriftBK to celebrate our soul sister’s birthday, eagerly anticipating a delightful Caribbean dining experience. Our waitress, Dominique, was attentive, personable, and exceptionally focused on meeting the birthday girl’s needs. Her knowledge of the menu and proactive service made us feel like she was part of our celebration, ensuring the birthday girl felt special. Unfortunately, despite Dominique's exceptional service, the restaurant's kitchen and management fell short in delivering a satisfactory experience. Their lack of coordination and apparent disregard for effective customer service rendered Dominique's efforts ineffective. When the manager, who seemed ill-prepared to address customer concerns, asked how our dining experience was progressing, I expressed my frustration over the repeated inquiries we had to make about the status of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees. In response, the manager made a half-hearted attempt to address our dissatisfaction by offering a small concession—crediting one meal and one drink off our $800 bill. This experience was beyond disappointing. We went and ordered the oxtail linguine. When it came out, it was expressed that the food was spicy. The oxtail was decent. They offered to remake one of the oxtail dishes complimentary and offered to apply a discount. I sent mine back with my oxtail on it still intact. We waited almost 50 min to just receive the dish back and when it came it was just the pasta I asked about my oxtail and the owner or manager said they would not be remaking the oxtail and that it would just be the pasta. Mind you I sent mine back with the oxtail still on it. Now here’s the thing we didn’t even get the pasta back as well after sending it back when we asked for the oxtail. What really was disgusting was the manager or owners attitude after we politely or genuinely confronted them about the situation and then she storms out of the restaurant in and out. Also on top of that there was so many flies there was even one crawling in the crab cakes when it came out that also had to be sent back. We were fanning flies more than we were eating to be honest. After trying to reason and getting no where we decided to leave. I really would not recommend this...

Went to Drift today for a retirement party and it was so HOT in the restaurant. There was no AC and the ceiling fans were blowing hot air. The retirement party was planned in advance and staff at Drift knew about how many people would be in attendance. However, they were understaffed. The food took a long time to come out. Staff needed repeated reminders to check on our food. Additionally, I ordered shrimp tacos to go. Each taco had ONE piece of shrimp (a total of 3 shrimp for 3 tacos). The taco was also very sloppy. I ordered the shrimp tacos because my colleagues stated that they were good and filled with shrimp. Well, as you can see by the photos, I did not get the same order they had. Furthermore, I ordered Mac and cheese and was told that they ran out. Not one person I was with ordered Mac and cheese and we were literally the only people in the restaurant. Therefore I am not sure how they ran out. We arrived at 2:45pm to the restaurant. Early enough for Mac and cheese to still be available for order.

I will not go back! Bring BKLYN Prime back to this location!!!
