Scales Galore — Local services in New York

I will never be placing an order from Scales Galore again. There was a delay in our order, which was fine, but then an error in shipping as well. The never notified me and I finally reached out to track my order and was told it was returned to the supplier. They said we left out our suite number on our order, but never tried to get it from us (and our mailboxes are a centralized location in a shopping center). In order to get the order we originally placed in January, we were going to have to pay an additional $18+. The item was $45 and I paid $15 in shipping already. They made no offer to help of any sorts and told me I would have to pay that or more to now get it shipped to me in the time I needed (almost 2 months later). I ended up canceling the order and don't even have confidence they will refund me (and I know they won't refund the $15 I originally paid in shipping). Received email confirmation that they received my order, but a week later I hadn't received scale, so I called to find out what was goung on. I was talked to rudely, and told by the company representive that they weren't responsible for UPS. I had merely asked if it had been sent. After I convinced the rep that I had not received package he did give me the tracking number, and I was able to figure out where UPS had left the package (10 miles from delivery address, but UPS' s fault, not Itin scales). After reading the manual I had a second problem. The sales person sold me a 1kg calibration weight, but that was incorrect. I am ordering the correct weight from someone else, as I won't reorder from this...

Their website says in stock and ships in 24 hours, I placed the order, its been 4 weeks and they are still staying thats its going be another 1-2 before it gets shipped out.
