Dynasty Taste — Restaurant in New York

Took a day trip to Staten Island recently to visit some landmark food places we heard about from friends. This happened to be one of those places. Walked into this cute little pastry shop and was pleasantly welcomed by a large selection of assorted cakes, pastries, and cookies galore. The staff seemed young and disinterested, but I honestly didn't care because I was more interested in all the sweets. We got a small variety of things to try out (cannoli, rainbow cookies, flat wafer cookies, etc.) and everything was DELICIOUS. I wanted so much more but was full from having lots of pizzas at the nearby renowned Italian place we had dinner at, Denino's (which was delicious as well). It was nice that there was outdoor seating in front, as it happened to be a gorgeous day when we were there. Prices are not too expensive on the small pastries, but I'm not sure about the larger items likes...

I ordered Zechuan beef lunch special. It should be called onions special. It was so disappointing to see that I got 3 small slices of beef and 3 slices of beef sliced from another strip to make it look more beef served. With it were lots of onions, carrots, broccoli and other veggies. Their price was increased by 50 cents for lunch special and you pay 50 cents for soup. It's ok to increase their prices but at least don't serve it like a pauper's food. It you're going to charge more make sure the quantity and quality of your food will not change. People will still buy food even if you increased your prices. Just give our money's worth buying from...

Drove past the restaurant a few days ago and notice that they have Chinese food, Thai, and Sushi. I went in today and ordered a mango chicken. Unexpectedly, that dish tasted delicious. I strongly recommend this dish in addition to the other dishes on the menu. I will definitely come back again to try out more and write a few more reviews.
