Nome Deli — Restaurant in New York

The food is great and the environment as well. Of course, no place it’s perfect but I can’t complain. The workers are aware of the needs of the customers. They are in time, accurate, and friendly. For the past 1-2 months, I’ve been going to this store more during the day time than at night. I feel very uncomfortable with one of the lady that is at register always trying to say unnecessary remarks to my face directly and indirectly. All because she’s more concerned what isn’t her business. Her job is to attend the customers and not stand there making unnecessary faces that make me uncomfortable. I’ve been trying to be as calm and respectful as possible but I need to speak to the supervisor. I want to go in this store and not stop going because this woman also keeps asking the man that I go with, “if he has a girlfriend?” Or one time she made a comment in our faces when it was time for checkout at the front… saying, “She payed for her stuff but not for yours.” Who can I speak to about this? Because once again, my partner went tonight to get some hot coffee and she asked again if the other coffee is for his girlfriend. The point is I don’t know if this woman is like this with every customer but I will be going there every now and than...

Waited 15 mins by the deli counter with 1 person in front of me. Never got the chance to order because the food preparer was taking forever to make the person's sandwich. Since I was never acknowledged in the 15 mins I was there, I walked out. It's important to never feel like you owe a business your money just because you started the buying process. I really don't rate Deli's, but this Nome Delireally takes the cake. Mr. Hussain is a man of honor, a man of respect and a man of kindness.
