El Jarochito Mexican Food Truck — Restaurant in New York

Disappointed given the overall reviews. I got 2 chicken tacos and 2 beef tacos also a chicken quesadilla. The only thing that made the tacos taste better was the green sauce without it tastes pretty much bland. Beef was very chewy as someone with braces it just gave my jaw more work that’s gonna be a no for me . I saw the great reviews and was really excited to try this truck. Looks super authentic and seemed to have locals checking it out. Got a pastor taco and a chicken burrito. Both were not great. Pastor taco basically flavorless despite being asked if we wanted spicy. And the chicken burrito was 95 percent rice and some dark brown meat that didn't look or taste like chicken. Sorry to report that I just threw it out. Anyway, the service seemed nice....

I wish they spoke at least one word of English. They couldn't understand even the word "tacos" and didn't know a single English word to discuss the price.
