Best Western Plus Brooklyn-Prospect Park — Hotel in New York

I had a solid stay here. Nice front desk staff, but a lack with the housekeeping..

Environment/ Design of room:

Room was ok design wise, not much to say about it. It had a large TV inside. Unfortunately the picture quality was very bad.

Front desk:

Very nice staff. Those guys were always trying to make my stay be as comfortable as can be.

5 stars for the friendly front desk staff.

Room size:

The room was so small, I couldn’t even leave my open suitcase anywhere without playing Tetris. Also I could barely sit on the chair, as there was almost no space between the oversized bed and the table.

2 stars for a way to small room.

Condition of the room:

Looks like this hotel has not been open for many years. The room didn’t look too old here. Taking a closer look, there were some run down spots inside the room, but that was only details.

Cleanliness:

Good at first look, not good looking closer. As always, I look into the details, especially in the bathroom. Here it didn’t take me very long to spot out some hair and dust. This is not supposed to happen.

Bed was clean tho. Housekeeping forgot to make up my room even though I put up my sign outside early in the morning when leaving.

Comfort of sleep:

Very good. Mattress as well as the pillows were real comfortable, marking me have a good sleep.

Even though walls are thin, I didn’t have a problem to catch sleep here.

Parking:

They have no hotel parking here. You gotta find a parking spot in the surrounding area.

Overall, the Best Western Plus hotel in Brooklyn is a decent option for those looking for a conveniently located, clean, and reasonably priced accommodation. While there are some minor drawbacks such as thin walls and unpacking pillows, I still believe it offers good...

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a very comfortable stay. The staff here is very warm and helpful and always greet you with a smile. Monica at the front desk was always welcoming of any query and was very helpful in helping us with a late checkout. The team did not crib about extending our hours of checkout and gladly extending the time to help us checkout comfortably. The rooms were comfortable and the property was clean. It has the right amount of furniture including a desk for doing office work. The temperature was maintained well inside the rooms and the water was hot which was very welcome with the chilling weather outside.
