Fallsburg Bagels + Cafe — Restaurant in New York

Although their bagels are fantastic, their service is a bit dissapointing. Wait time was about 4-5 minutes with only one person in front of me with 3 guys working the counter. When I was finally done, I had to wait 4-5 minutes for the cashier to come to the register so I can pay. ( She was called from the back everytime a customer needed to pay ). I understand that she perhaps was probably doing two jobs, but if called from the "back" she should have came right away. This was done with each customer needing to pay. In addition, no one wore masks!? Only one employee wore one and non of the customers wore any neither. I guess this is how they operate when the boss or manager is not there. What a shame what could be a higher end...

Kosher it may be, but that’s the only thing going for this place. Small bagels, unfriendly staff, especially the guy taking your order. He kind of throws your finished bagged bagel against the plastic window. Hard to explain that one.

Also did not have a listing of the spreads or toppings. When I asked he just pointed. Cashier (maybe the owner - who knows) was fun pleasant enough. Only saving grace.

I feel sorry for the people who have to go here because there isn’t another bagel place close by. I was in the area to get my car inspected.

I also don’t get the other ratings. Maybe it’s because it’s the only place...

Omg, the Lox spread bagel was so good, the spread has a nice amount of lox BUT, if you look at the pictures, theres barely any on the sandwich, it's mostly tomatoes. So I have a toasted, scooped, sesame bagel w/ lox spread, sliced red onion and a lot of sliced tomato. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. I did get one from here ONE time that was nice sized so I keep ordering hoping it gets better but it does not, included are pics of not one but 2 different bagels.....I ended up adding some store bought Philadelphia smoked salmon cream cheese spread I keep in the fridge for...
