Five stars are simply not enough to capture the culinary journey that Taverna Kos offered! From the moment I walked in, I was embraced by an ambiance that was warm, inviting, and authentically Greek. The star of the evening, however, was the remarkable food.

I began my meal with the Keftedakia, an appetizer that transported me to the heart of Greece with every bite. The delicacy and richness of flavors were simply extraordinary, revealing an expertise that goes beyond mere cooking into the realm of culinary artistry.

Moving on to the main course, the grilled chicken with lemon potatoes was a symphony of flavors. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, while the lemon potatoes were a perfect balance of tangy and savory. It's evident that the chefs take immense pride in their craft, with each dish being a testament to the art of Greek cuisine.

Above all, what sets Taverna Kos apart was the impeccable service, particularly from Nick. He was more than a waiter, he was a true host. His attention to detail, from food recommendations to prompt service, added an extra layer of joy to the dining experience.

Taverna Kos is more than a restaurant; it's a Greek paradise tucked away in the city. Whether you're a connoisseur of Greek cuisine or simply a lover of good food, I cannot recommend Taverna Kos enough. Here's to many more visits and many more...

Not maybe the most popular place to grab a Greek food (the location is a bit different comparing with majority of other Greek places), but I wanted to try something new this time. The menu is not huge, they have some basic Greek food. When I came they did not have several items, so the offer was even more modest. We had mediterranean spreads with pita bread for appetizer, pork chops (juicy, but the flavor would be better if it was prepared on a grill) and biftekia as a main course. Lemon potatoes (served as a side dish) dissapointed me most of all, hard and staled, prepared the previous day I suppose. I would also avoid serving water in plastic cups. This is a tavern, of course, but there are some mandatory standards. There are some improvements that could be implemented so this place can become a competitive place for lunc and dinner...

Swordfish steak, lemon potatoes, Calamari, Greek rice -- all perfectly prepared for a take out order! That is the "normal way" they do business -- and, with a smile, positive attitudes, genuine friendliness, and a "Thank you!" That is why this elderly retired Marine, continually supports this place as both a "dine in" guest and a "carry out" customer! And, I feel truely obligated to leave 20+% tips to the hostesses when I am a "carry out" customer, because I strongly believe that these ladies service is a crucial element of the continuous success of Taverna Kyclades Astoria! Don't waste your time or money eating seafood anywhere...
