Fresh My Day — Restaurant in New York

Got the Sunshine smoothie today and, personally, I thought it was flavorless, particularly for the amount of fruit that was supposed to be in it and the $11 price tag. The whole thing tasted primarily of ice.

Also, I don’t know what they were, but the smoothie was full of some sort of small, rock-like pieces of seed or pit that I found myself having to spit out with every sip. It made the drink completely inedible for me and sadly I ended up throwing the whole thing away.

It seems like everyone loves this place based on all the 5 star reviews so I don’t know if I’m just not “getting it” or what, but I was not happy with the beverage I ordered and won’t be coming back.

I ordered a chicken sharwma bowl and a spicy pineapple smoothie. the smoothie tasted fresh and exotic. the sharwma was great. the rice is yellow and fragrant. the server gave me a healthy server. it was enough for two people. the server offered me a piece of juicy pineapple when I came in. As he made my dinner I noticed there were fresh fruits and veggies to purchase and dave's hot honey and dates. I like the atmosphere in this place the colors are very vibrant, and it is clean. I love this place so much, it’s my go to spot after a long run. The wonderful people who work here go out of their way to serve their customers (e.g. usually I’m so gassed after my run and they’ve given me water while I wait for my order, or a piece of fruit to try).
