Giovanna's Kitchen, Inc — Restaurant in New York

Delicious food, great service that will have you coming back again and again. My family catered last year's Easter dinner from Giovanna's on a family member's recommendation. I have always loved Italian food, so I'm biased, but their dishes were extraordinary. We ordered orechiette with sausage and broccoli rabe (my favorite), chicken marsala, eggplant parmigiana, focaccia, honey cakes, tiramisu, and bombolinis. Each dish was a huge hit with our guests.

Fast forward, we placed a repeat order on Saturday (we decided to add an order of penna salmone). The staff was gracious and patiently explained the contents of dishes we were considering (kids with food allergies).

Coincidentally, we placed the order during Giovanna's celebration of Saint Joseph's Day. The mood was festive and the patrons lively. I had some fresh parmigiana from the Saint Joseph's Table, which, of course, led me to look around the store for something else to nibble on. I encountered their breadcrumb pizza for the first time and it was amazing!

Seating type: there was plenty of seating when I went. You could comfortably go with a group of 6 people

Vegetarian options: they have vegetarian options and the staff asked me if I needed any changed to my order before they made it

Kid-friendliness: bring the kids

Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t know about this one. Restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and I walked up some steps to get there. There may be a elevator or lift on the other side but I didn’t check

We recently ordered food for a birthday in my office. Everything was delicious! In the past, we’ve ordered from several different Italian restaurants in the neighborhood, however this place hands down is the best. Everything tasted fresh, and full of flavor. You want authentic Italian food? Food that tastes like it’s homemade? Well this is the place! We loved the food so much that we’re ordering food for my upcoming birthday this Monday.
