Congratulations on the grand opening!

Though I have some thoughts on the food I'd like to share.

Usually the food is freshest in the morning (at least at most Guyanese/Trini food spots I've been too around my area)

However I decided to go in the afternoon to make an order. I got me a small chicken cookup, side of Chana, poulorie, doubles and dhal, rice, and pumpkin.

The cookup had a funky smell and also has a spoiled taste. The poulorie lacks a bit of flavor. The side of Chana is OK, it tastes a bit on the sweeter side but the pepper sauce definitely saves it. Everything else was pretty good!

I would give the overall vibe and service a 5/5, and the food is a 3/5 for me. I'm sure if I tried other foods here the food rating would change, I'm just rating based on the food I ordered not the overall food here. A day ago, I tried this restaurant's food for the first time and it was far from "Heavenly!" I ordered pholourie, chow mein, vegetable fried rice, gilbaka curry, and bake ( they did not have any roti). They did not have much food selections and the restaurant is very small. The food was very bland with no taste. The bake was too thick. The chow mein was dry and sticky. The fried rice did not taste fresh and was tasteless as well as the gilbaka curry. I was disappointed with the low quality of food for the price they charged. The chef needs to step it up with cooking much better quality of food with taste and flavor! Wanted to have Roti and Chicken Curry. Was very disappointed with what I was served. First the menu board is not updated, Boneless Chicken curry and Roti was for $12 on the menu board I was charged $15. The Chicken was burnt and dry the Curry was very light and watery, the roti tasted terrible, it soaked in what taste like flavored water. The server seemed like to be upset to serve me mean faced older woman.
