I am a nursing that takes public transportation. After a long day of school , as i wait for the bus i realized that my battery percentage was on 3% and with the new technology you can pay your bus fare using your Apple Pay . Luckily i was standing in front of B.B.Q village when i decided to go inside and ask of the staffs behind the counter if i can charge my phone while i wait for the bus. The staff okayed that i charge my phone while i wait for the bus . It was about 3 minutes into charging my phone that another individual seems to be part owner or part of the staff team as he spoke to me rudely and with authority stating “ you should not come into people’s business and charge your phone without asking for permission” i was shooked because although i realized this was not the same men that i interacted with earlier when i asked for permission. I proceeded to let him know that i did ask for permission from his fellow mate and which the man confirmed that i asked for permission. With no apology he just kept walking , i was so embarrassed because so many other customers were in the store. With my embarrassment and disbelief from such a treatment from such a business in the community. I unplugged my charger and told him to have a great day. Lucky my percentage were able to go from 3% to 7%. Thank you to the kind man who originally allowed me to charge my phone. This 1 star is to teach you how to treat others. Be kind to someone as you have no idea what they’re going through or what kind of day...
Read moreHad there food twice. First time I ordered , chicken kebab and garlic naan. Chicken kebab was minced way too much Which made me hate the texture and taste 5/10. Garlic naan was 10/10. No complaints for garlic naan. Second time I came , I ordered palak paneer , chaana, yellow rice , naan , shaami kebab , and butter chicken tikka masala. I went there around opening time 11:40am -12pm hoping it would be a good time since they opened and might be fresh. I was wrong because Some food tasted like they were from the night before. The yellow rice was stale and over cooked. Butter chicken tikka masala was undercooked. Chaana has a weird smell. Smelt like old people , it’s the seasoning they used.Shaami kebab 0/1o hated it. Didn’t taste like meat at all. Tasted old as well. Everything needed to be warmed up which made me think it was old food. I had some left over food the next day and felt sick from it. They are overly priced. A better alternative to this restaurant would be al Meheran on parsons hillside (6-7 min drive from this place and totally worth it) (try out their double kebab roll and you won’t regret it !)
This place only deserves two stars for their naan and garlic naan which are 10/10 but if you go anywhere you’ll probably find the same taste anywhere since it can be...
Read moreGuy behind the counter is very very rude.. not a Muslim like behavior especially in the month of Ramadan. Food is expensive for nothing besides grade is pending. After he packed my food I asked him to give me 1 “pakora”., he barked at me by saying “you have to pay” like I’m asking it for free while I’ve already purchased over $13 worth of foods. He couldn’t politely notify me by saying “that’ll be $1.50 extra”. After I took my food I was trying to buy a bottle of water which was $2.50. I’ve already paid $13 & charges with my card now I wanted to put that $2.50 on my card too., again he barked at me by saying “you have to buy $10 or more “ . I just bought $13 & charges worth of foods 1 min ago.. anyway I just put the water back & walked out. This is the first time & last time for me. I’m never going back there.. I’ll tell my friends & families also not to go there. Actually there’s no other halal restaurant around that area., that’s why this guy thinks he got the customers by the neck & treat them whichever the way he wants to.. shame on these...
