Hillside Hot Bagels — Restaurant in New York

I decided to come here to support a guy. There's a chubby brown girl who always has an un-iron 😖 face every time I order, not the girl with the glasses, she and the black worker are friendly. I ordered a bagel with butter and coffee, nothing big to say it takes long to make. I understand they may put others orders in due to the traffic and i'm fine with that, but dont have me wait soo long everytime i order, go-back and start my order, last time, she did the same thing, finished my order, rest it by the register amd left, while i stood there, the black worker had to go ask her if that was my order, because he asked me if that's mines, i said "i dont know" 🤷 she just dropped it there and left....she does everyone order first and have customers waiting. Normally, if a customer waits on the line, someone would say how can i help you or acknowledge you, prompting that theyre ready to take your order, shes selective on who she does that to.....not a smile, always angry looking. But other ethnicities come in....big smiles....from ear to ear..... I love being observant. You see a lot of stuff. Good bagels, the boss is a nice guy....but i dont like buying food with negative vibes.....i...

This place is my go-to breakfast spot that's close to my work.

I've tried basically every bagel and they are all fresh. The croissants are usually fresh aside from the few times where I've received stale ones. Eggs are cooked nicely but be sure to ask for salt & pepper when ordering if you don't prefer your eggs to be bland. The coffee is great.

The service is somewhat quick but also somewhat inefficient, they need a system in place to better organize the service in front. Also with the lack of a POS system, I've been charged different prices on occasion (difference is not huge for me to make a deal out of it).

Every time I go into this sandwich shop, I am greeted with great energy and a welcoming environment manner, and I am instantly catered and treated with outstanding customer service from a wonderful staff of people who work there they Very caring and very helpful and every single time I go into the Establishment I have a even more better experience each time, especially with my recent interactions with employee Alexis who’s been very sweet, loving, kind, and helpful along with the rest of her coworkers. I highly recommend people to come get breakfast &/or lunch here at this...
