I've been going to this place since it was called Aunt Jackie's. Name changed, but still great food, great patties, and some great people. There's not one thing I wouldn't recommend from this place. I love it I love it I love it. Hope it stays open until the end of time. And if you're lucky, you'll walk in and they're playing Anime on the TV.

A hearty & tasty jerk chicken breast sandwich. Here's the kicker. Its blanketed under Co-co bread. I get mines without the mayo tho. A very good sandwich. Jackies has been ariund since 1987. I've only found it in the past 8 years, glad i did.

So my parents who are in there late 60’s went there on Wednesday. My mother had a stomach ache all night and finally vomited today. I called in to the restaurant and expressed my concern. 1. To the gentleman who spoke with me thank you for allowing me to express my concern. 2. For the other gentleman who who was rude to my father because he asked for no gravy on the rice of his oxtail, shame on you for giving attitude to a senior. There are tons of restaurant in the Bronx....you don’t treat people like that. People are not begging for food they are paying for it. The food was old and that is why my mother got sick. What do you do at the end of the night with the leftover cabbage....so this is not a place that cooks fresh food. I do not...

The food is great but the girls at the counter are extremely rude, as a jamaican, I hate the stigma they uphold on jamaican restaurants with the nasty attitudes, short responses, rolling of the eyes, and screaming out "Next." They seem so miserable and disgusted with their customers. I've been a shopper here for years, living in the community for over 20 years, but what broke me today was a young cashier's response to an elderly woman asking about something on the menu. At least, at its bare minimum, respect to elders should be a priority in their customer service, and hopefully that can elevate their service as a whole. It wouldve gotten all 5 stars if they were better in that department because the food overall...

If it wasn't for the food I would never return. I hate giving negative reviews but my patience with the young ladies there has run out. For months, their attitude is the same, like we are getting on their nerves by ordering food and they are doing us a favor by allowing us to eat their food.

They barely call next unless they feel like it. Otherwise, they just stare at you like you're dumb for not walking up. I don't move up until I hear "next" or "can I take your order?" Or "what would you like?" Anything is better than the "Oh brother" stare.

They girls give the stereotype of "rude Jamaicans" it's validity.

Food is great but I promise you the service prevents me from coming...
