Pizza Shop — Restaurant in New York

What a find!! We were dropping off family at JFK and stopped by on the way back home 10 minutes from JFK Totally unpretentious good food all around. Not a fine dining place and not a place for fancy $8 coffee but just honest good food. Enough space with tables to sit down and have a great meal. We had a small garden salad, meat lovers slice, plain cheese slice, empanadas, beef patties and a bbq chicken roll. The roll is prepared by hand and takes about 10-15 minutes to prepare. Not one item was anything less than delicious. I think the best pizza I’ve had in NY (I know - everyone has their “bestest” NY pizza spot) is at NY Pizza Supremo (413, 8th Avenue) and this “Pizza Shop” was just a notch below in my opinion. Can’t go wrong with this place. If you’re competing with the Supremo, you’re doing just fine thank you. Definitely going back here every chance we get. We packed empanadas, beef patties and a Stromboli roll to go…. Good job and kudos to the guys running this place. I hope more people hear about this place and enjoy!!! I came in order exactly 1 bbq chicken pizza mind you I'm big belly prego Sat down and waited over 20 mins for my food a group of guys came in after me order mad food and got there before me ... After a long flight, my friend who picked me up from the airport took me straight there to get some food! I was craving and missing NY pizza! She had eaten there several times, so I trusted her! This pizza doesn’t disappoint! They are not sparse with their toppings! Super cozy vibe and everyone was very friendly! It’s less then 10 minutes from JFK airport. Definitely worth the stop....
